La Covacha has been refurbished and furnished to a high standard, a newly installed pool, BBQ, shaded lounge and alfresco dining area all let you make the most of the glorious sunshine. A quiet office allows you to ‘work from home’ if you must! The roof terraces have stunning mountain, village and sea views, an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee or a get together around the bar.
Canillas de Aceituno is an authentic Andalucian white village, set on the side of the ‘La Maroma’ Mountain with an abundance of hiking and biking trails, most famously “El Saltillo”. It’s friendly, it has everything you need, and it isn’t overwhelmed by tourism. The perfect place to experience real Spain, it’s people, fiestas, hospitality and of course the weather. A great base for exploring locally and the whole region with Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla all in range. A short drive takes you down to the beaches and towns along the coast. While Malaga’s fabulous City Centre and Airport are under an hour away.

Ron and I have 2 grown up sons & 2 dogs. We are originally from Porthcawl in South Wales but moved up to Keswick in 2013 to live in a beautiful NT Property (on an island) that we renovated. That done, we needed to relax and see some sun so have moved to Canillas de Aceituno.
I am an avid reader but I can't abide cinnamon and adore chocolate.

Photos definitely can't quite do the views from Canillas de Aceituno and the surrounding area justice! Different conditions reveal gems like the Atlas Mountains of Morocco floating over the Mediterranean horizon, an authentic white 'casita' balanced on the top of a ridge, or the sun changing the colours of the lake on a daily basis. Come and see it for yourself!

The house is spacious and furnished to a high standard and we have tried to provide everything that we think will make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
The house, terraces and patio have been designed to suit families, couples and friends providing plenty of room to make the most of your holiday together.
Our previous guests have loved the property and many plan to return.
