Villa Madama Grande is a bright and elegant residence built on the sloping cliff in front of the sea. It sleeps 12 people. From Villa Madama Grande you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, of Praiano and the coast of Amalfi. Villa Madama Grande is 380 square meters (4100 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, panoramic private terraces, private patios, three private gardens, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Praiano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation and the beach. You will find the closest restaurant at 100 meters (330 feet), a grocery store at 150 meters (490 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 120 meters (390 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia della Gavitella) at roughly 700 meters (770 yards) including 350 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Madama Grande from the street level along a 100-meters (330-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 75 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Madama Grande. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot (where a space can be reserved).

Made up of two adjacent villas, the residence is an oasis of tranquility and natural beauty set in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, with spectacular views of the sea and the coastal area. The two villas (each sleeping 6 guests) are independent yet connected via two wide well-kept gardens offering multiple outdoor spaces, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the view, adding even more elegance and charm at the property.
Swimming Pool
You will reach the swimming pool from the first terrace going down a route that includes approximately 28 stairway steps. The pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the greenery. The pool is open from mid-May until mid-October.
First VillaGarden 1
You will reach the garden from the first terrace going down a route that includes approximately 16 stairway steps. The garden is 350 square meters (3770 square feet). It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof and by awnings. It is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea, the Li Galli islands and Praiano.
Garden 2
You will reach the garden from the first terrace going down a route that includes approximately 16 stairway steps. The garden is 130 square meters (1400 square feet). It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the coastline.
First Villa, Bottom FloorTerrace 1
The first terrace is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a retractable awning. It is equipped with armchairs and a masonry bench, as well as with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea, the Li Galli islands and Praiano.
Living Room 1
The first living room is paved with tiles with handmade decoration, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling boasts a cross vault. The furnishings are elegant and bright, and include a sofa, two armchairs and a desk. There is an elegant fireplace, for decorative purposes only. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen 1
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the living room through an access area. It is equipped with a five-burner induction cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. The kitchen has a small high window.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet), an iron and an ironing board.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. It has a single bed (80 cm/32 inches), located on the mezzanine level. The furnishings include a sofa and a desk. The room has a small high window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid red majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a hydromassage shower and a hairdryer.

There is also a cooking area. The kitchenette can be closed in a cupboard and is equipped with a two-burner electric cooker, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

The fourth terrace is 18 square meters (194 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a retractable awning. It is equipped with chairs and two deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea, the Li Galli islands and Praiano and of Positano.
Patio 1
The first patio is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch and by tall trees. It is equipped with a wrought-iron bench and with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery.
Living Room 2
The second living room is paved with wood. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable, and include a sofa and two armchairs. In this room you will find an upright piano (please contact us before making your reservation if you plan to use the piano, as we need to make sure that it is in working order). The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the third terrace through a French door. The room also has two windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
