Koukaki is certainly one of the most interesting neighbourhoods of Athens. Aside the minor fact that was nominated as the 6th most interesting neighbourhood in the world by Airbnb, Koukaki has still the interesting mix of locality, culture (Acropolis museum & National museum of contemporary Art), but after 2012 (and fortunately or unfortunately) & the alternation of its traditional middle class residential area, a lot of high quality branch places, gourmet restaurants or sea food choices combined with the traditional taverns and Meze places which were always there and gave a multifarious and colourful vibe.
