The cottage is perfectly situated for keen walkers who can take advantage of numerous footpaths that lead straight from the front door through woodlands and along the coast. The village pub and restaurant are less than a mile away if you don’t feel like cooking on an evening, alternatively, a short ride in the car will bring you to nearby Hastings Old Town (4 miles) with its abundance of eateries, independent shops, and attractions. Just 2 miles away is the beach at Pett Level, an ideal spot for bird watching or seeing the unique petrified forest, and heading slightly further afield are the Ancient town of Rye (8 miles) and the 1066 town of Battle (9 miles) located in the designated High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both make for a great day out exploring the local area, also, Great Dixter House and Garden is just a 12-mile drive away.
The front door of this property opens into a stylish and well-equipped lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a comfy sofa and armchair - perfect for curling up with a good book or catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen area has everything you may need for whipping up a delicious romantic meal before sitting down to dine at the table with seating for two. Completing the ground floor is a very stylish shower room with WC. After a busy day exploring all that the local area has to offer, head upstairs to the super king-size bedroom for a relaxing night’s sleep. Here you will find a comfy super-king bed, which can be made into two singles if preferred, two comfy armchairs and a tea/coffee-making area for enjoying a morning coffee. There are also spectacular views from the window across the local countryside and out towards the sea.
Heading outside, there is a covered seating area with patio seating and views across the owner’s garden and woodland (privacy assured).
