Maemuna Sea View Apartment

The property still reminds us of a typical fisherman apartment. And the views...are just breathtaking!
We have access to Maemuna Sea View from a curious and hidden passage in the heart of the village, right over Belforte restaurant.
From the entrance we have a corridor: on our left a tiny bathroom with shower; then a a small kitchen corner ideal just for breakfast preparation or warming of takeaway dishes. It has a small induction stove, refrigerator, a microwave oven, tea and coffee boiler. Close to the kitchen, we have a sea view twin bedroom with bunk beds. Then we have a large sitting and dining area with amazing sea views. In the room a NEW double sofa bed and a round dining table.
The owner of Maemuna loves this property since she bought it in her youth and lived here in magical moments with her family. She now spends her Summer time in the apartment upstairs and she knows how nice is to enjoy the space of the amazing sitting room of Maemuna. For this reason, she decided to keep a sofa bed in that area, even though it's the only double bed in the apartment. She just bought a new and comfortable double sofa bed for not ruining that amazing sitting area and not give that room just the look of a bedroom. She preferred giving it multiple functionalities - sitting, dining, and sleeping area. Maemuna is so a perfect property even for long sojourns. Guests won't ever regret having chosen it!
Why choosing it
Maemuna Sea View charme is all around: we can still imagine a woman at night waving goodbye to her husband going to sea and then anxiously waiting for his return at dawn with a boat full of fish!
This property is the perfect place for photography lovers even during wintertime when the waters are stormy and the waves are high!
Good to Know
Maemuna Sea View is the ideal location for all couples or families looking for romance. Please, consider that for space reasons there's only a double sofa bed (plus the bedroom with bunk beds). There are steps to reach this property, being on a prominent part of the village over Ventegà square and the waters, but a compromise must be paid to have excellent views. Porter service is available on request.
Maemuna Sea Views is also the ideal location for solo travellers and photographers.

The Legend
The legend says that a long time ago a Vernazza girl named Maemuna recovered herself in a cave by the sea with the intent to escape a Saracen pirates assault. Sadly, she could never find a way out of it. The villagers, though, kept on hearing his moaning voice and they believed she attracted with her songs fishermen and pirates. Today there is still a cave near Vernazza village bearing her name. Groaning sounds still can be heard coming from the cave on stormy nights. The rocks that hide that cave can be seen from Maemuna Sea View apartment. 
Please Note: in the event of malfunctioning of some equipment and services, including air conditioning, dishwashers, washing machines, telephones, wifi and any other equipment and in the event of a gas cut and/or lack of heating, the Cinque Terre Riviera will promptly act to provide support and resolve the fault. Since the structures are located in the National Park area, intervention times are often longer and understanding is required for these difficulties. Cinque Terre Riviera will not be held responsible for problems not due to its negligence and will not grant refunds for such inconveniences. Turning on the heating is prohibited by law from Apr 1st to  Nov  08th.
