Unser historisches Charleston-Haus aus dem Jahr 1880 wurde gerade von Grund auf renoviert (wobei das Fundament und der Kamin aus dem Jahr 1880 erhalten blieben). Direkt im Herzen von Downtown Charleston, sind wir nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von Charlestons berühmten Touristenattraktionen entfernt, einschließlich der Haupteinkaufs- und Restaurantviertel. Wir haben einen Parkplatz abseits der Straße in unserer privaten Einfahrt und es ist einfach, zusätzliche Parkplätze auf der Straße zu finden.

Wir haben 3 private Außenbereiche, darunter einen Balkon, eine Veranda und einen Garten. Der Garten wurde vor kurzem im Gartenstil mit einem Außenkamin gestaltet und angelegt.

Die Auflistung gilt für unser gesamtes Haus, einschließlich aller drei Schlafzimmer, des Wohnzimmers, des Esszimmers, der Küche, der traditionellen Veranden im Erdgeschoss und im Obergeschoss sowie des Hinterhofs. Drinnen und draußen sowie auf dem privaten Parkplatz können Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts nur parken. Wir sind einen Block von der Meeting Street und etwa 6 Gehminuten von der King Street und dem Restaurantviertel entfernt. Alle fantastischen Restaurants und historischen Stätten sind ebenfalls nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Wir befinden uns in der Eastside, einer sicheren Übergangsgegend.

Terrific location

The house is super cool with lots of space. We stayed for 5 weeks and had plenty of space for friends and family to visit. The beds were very comfortable. The location of the house was great, close to everything, without having to drive. It was in a very transitional neighborhood. This beautiful house was situated between 2 run down houses. There are also several college kids that live on the street, so weekend parties were abundant. They did shut down by midnight. If I have one complaint it was that several things needed to be repaired while we were there. The house manager was excellent but I feel that many of these items should have been dealt with before we moved in. We enjoyed our time in Charleston!!!

The house is absolutely amazing! Beautiful inside and out, incredibly clean, and a great location with easy access to all the main attractions of downtown Charleston. The host was fabulous and helped us with whatever we needed! I could not recommend this place more!

Beautiful home convenient to downtown

The house is beautiful and super clean and had everything we needed for traveling with two small kids. At times there was a lot of street noise from construction and cars playing loud music, but it didn’t really bother us.

Coronavirus Getaway

My husband, our two friends, and I worked from home in this house for just shy of two weeks and had a wonderful time. The location was great for picking up delicious dinners and bringing them back to the house. The wi-fi was strong, allowing all 4 of us to continue working, the house had enough areas inside and out where we could all have our own space. Just over the Ravenel Bridge/a short drive to Sullivan’s Island and the IOP beaches where we relaxed (socially distant) from other groups. The property owners were responsive and helpful. All in all it was a wonderful change of scenery for our little group.

Great home but location was not

The house was beautiful and the amenities were great. My only complaint would be the neighborhood. I didn’t understand what “transitional safe” neighborhood meant. This home is in an area of downtown Charleston that is very depressed. Upgrades on homes are beginning to happen but the location was shocking to me.

Excellent spot for exploring upper King Street

We had a great experience with this rental. It is a beautiful restored home with all modern appliances and furnishings. The location is just a short walk from upper King Street and the visitor center (and the tours leaving from there). As others have mentioned, this is an urban neighborhood undergoing gentrification and I imagine it will continuing changing for years to come. It’s a beautiful home and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next Charleston adventure. We traveled with young children but it would also be perfect for bachelor/bachelorette getaways.

Charming house

We were there for a girls weekend participating in a half marathon! The House is adorable, beautiful decoration and everything you need. location is close to everything , in an up in coming neighborhoods. The owners were super responsive and helpful... frankly we were not familiar with the city so our first impression of the neighborhood was alarming- since it’s a transitional location... but they were amazing and came and visited with us... gave us restaurant recommendation - we would stay there again! Thank you Lauren and Kevin!

Classic Charleston

This home is a classic Charleston home. The living and outdoor spaces are wonderful as is the master bedroom and bath. The other bedrooms are comfortable, but not large. We sat in the outside courtyard for drinks and snacks most evenings prior to going to dinner. The neighborhood is in transition with a mix of college students, retirees and public housing - everyone seems to mind their own business aside from a hello on the street. The house is an easy walk to upper King Street with several shops and restaurants. It is not close to the standard tourist area in Charleston, but a short Uber ride can get you there in about 5 minutes. Lauren, the host, won an award for her restoration of the property. She is fairly quick to respond and will attempt to provide you what you need or request. Overall we were very happy with the place.

Beautifully renovated Charleston home

The house is lovely and as described on the Web site. Lauren was very flexible, helpful and communicative. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We walked to the battery and the historic market area several times. The neighborhood is very walkable with lots of dining out options nearby. We would absolutely come back.

Cozy home in the heart of downtown

Gorgeous, comfortable home in downtown Charleston a short walk from King Street. Gourmet kitchen stocked with everything needed & wanted. Upstairs balcony perfect or back patio perfect for morning coffee. Would definitely recommend!

Girls Trip

Home lovely.! The neighborhood is on the outer fringe of the historical area and is considered to be a transitional neighborhood. The home is within walking distance to various sites but would Uber or Lyft at night. Now that I have my bearings, I would not have a problem coming back here.

Close to everything!

We stayed here for my friend's bachelorette party and it fit the 6 of us very comfortably. We were close to everything - the beach, king street, etc. There was a lot of street noise at night and the neighborhood wasn't the best, but the house was beautiful and beautifully decorated. There were enough supplies for us to cook dinner, make breakfast and was the perfect spot for the bachelorette! Lauren was such a good hostess and was super helpful if we needed anything over the weekend.
