Nestled in the stunning seaside town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, Casa Cala is a welcoming and homely property with plenty of charm. Sleeping up to seven guests across four bedrooms, it is perfect for family holidays and getaways with friends. You’ll be able to explore the bustling town centre, the beautiful North and South Bays and enjoy the entire Yorkshire Coast so there is plenty of fun to be had during your stay.

The Space:
Bright and spacious, the living room at Casa Cala has warming cream walls, two leather lounge style sofas and a flat screen TV making it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Gather your loved ones together and enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area which shares the space.

Casa Cala has a cosy and quirky kitchen. Somewhat traditional in style, this space includes navy shaker style cupboards and smooth wooden worktops. Ideal for preparing meals, the kitchen features modern appliances and cookware to ensure you can really make the most of your self-catering break.

Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms and the family bathroom. There is double and a small double bedroom on this floor, with one twin bedroom and one single bedroom on the second floor of the property. Each bedroom has plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.

Modern and clean, the modern bathroom has a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Casa Cala are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check in.

A parking scratch card is provided, allowing for free on-street parking nearby on a first come, first served basis.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Casa Cala per reservation.

The Neighborhood:
Located close to the centre of Scarborough, Casa Cala is just a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.

The Prince of Wales Garden is a peaceful haven to enjoy when visiting Scarborough. The gardens feature rockeries, a lily pond, a lawn and a classical style shelter.

There are a number of beaches for you to choose from in Scarborough. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.

Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000-year history.

If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short distance from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.

Getting Around:
Casa Cala is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.

Scarborough Train Station is close by and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Malton and York.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.

The nearest airport is Teesside International, 59 miles away from Scarborough.
