Ideally Located

This seaside neighborhood, which is also sometimes called Santos-o-Velho, is brimming with history. It's also one of the most popular areas in the entire city for expats and newcomers, thanks to its culture and nightlife. Santos is among the best-preserved parts of historic Lisbon, with several notable former convents and palaces. There's also the Museum of Ancient Art and even an entire museum devoted to puppetry. Bars, clubs, and restaurants line Avenida 24 de Julho, which runs parallel to the Tagus. Santos is served by Cascais rail station and a number of bus and tram lines.
