Alongside the ancient bridge which crosses the River Camel, located centrally between Bodmin and Wadebridge, you will find Chapel Annex, forming part of this stunning former 12th Century Chapel, previously featured in the ’25 Most Beautiful Homes’ magazine.
From the entrance you will find a cosy, welcoming living space with plenty of relaxing seating and a wonderful wood burner and luxury bed linen in the bedroom. The mature south facing communal garden and private woodland boast a beautiful rhododendron bush and a majestic giant redwood, and is carpeted by a luscious green lawn, tempting you to enjoy all that it has to offer. Look out for the Medieval water feature and the private Victorian gateway which will lead you onto the world-renowned Camel Trail, along which showcases some of the best views and countryside in Cornwall. The chapel’s walled remnants shroud a private outdoor space where you can enjoy the sun until late, while you enjoy a glass of something special, perhaps from The Camel Valley Vineyard? A warm welcome awaits you at this charming cottage, leave the hustle and bustle behind you and quite simply - enjoy!

The distinctive decor is tasteful and pristine, and the quality furnishings are stylish and comfortable.
The kitchen and dining areas are very well equipped, and are eminently suitable for self-catering.
There is access to the manicured garden and grounds, which provide a tranquil haven.
Overall, first-class, and worthy of a 5* rating. The owners deserve great credit.

We, The Cornish Holiday Company, have much pleasure in hosting this delightful property for the owners. Being a locally based company we are always on hand should guests require anything during their stay. The owners live on site too so are available should guests need anything urgently.
Please note that we have recently started marketing this property and so there are no current reviews. However, we host many other properties in Cornwall all of which have excellent reviews.

This area is such a great location as it is in between the south and north coastlines. It is central for getting around and discovering Cornwall and is close to the next town of Wadebridge. If guests are feeling energetic they can hire bikes and cycle from Bodmin to Wadebridge and even on to Padstow too.
If you are looking for some local Cornish history, the newly renovated Bodmin Jail is a great place to start. The jail was built in 1779 and, after years of sitting derelict, it has recently been transformed into a luxurious hotel with a museum, restaurant and champagne bar all waiting to be enjoyed.
