Villa Kamelia Rose is well-located in the hills above Gournes, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and sea. A 30 minute walk or a 10 minute drive will take you to the resorts of Gournes and Gouves, where you can find an eclectic selection of bars, restaurants and tavernas, as well as some stunning beaches. Just a 10 minute walk from the villa, a local bakery can enrich your mornings with freshly baked bread. Kokkini Hani is also close by, with a selection of tavernas plus a couple of larger supermarkets. If you wish to explore further afield, the larger towns of Heraklion and Hersonissos are both easily reachable within a 20 minute drive.
