We are delighted to offer our luxurious and very spacious home. A perfect getaway in the West Sussex countryside, for a relaxing time away.
This Georgian property which once formed part of a hotel has high-ceilings and beautiful individual features throughout.
There is a heated pool (May to September) and lake in the garden, to enjoy long lazy afternoons. There are some fantastic long country walks from our doorstep or choose a short walk to the pub!
Our home offers two dining areas (one formal and one informal), and a spacious entrance hall with a convenient cloakroom/lavatory.
The fully equipped kitchen boasts an Aga stove (an electric oven is also available), with a large centre island and plenty of space for entertaining. There is a large dining table with seating for 10 (with additional seating at the kitchen island). There is a sofa so you can relax with views of the garden in the bay window.
We have a second kitchen/utility room which you can also use for laundry/catering if you wish.
Adjacent to the main kitchen, you will find a snug, providing the perfect space for children to unwind with games, large sofa, comfortable chairs, table football and a large TV.
The dining room is where you will find the formal dining table which seats 12, a pool table, an open fireplace and comfortable seating for relaxing after dinner.
Find respite and comfort in the beautiful living room, with an inviting open fireplace (logs are provided), this huge room provides ample space for relaxation and comfortably accommodates 12 guests. You can access the garden from the living room, and a patio with a large dining table and a relaxing sofa area with fire pit.
On the upper floor you will find the truly opulent and expansive master suite, with super king bed, the room features an ensuite bathroom complete with a shower and a bath. There is a large sofa under a huge dome which looks out over the beautiful views of the lake and garden, a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee.
There are four more sumptuous bedrooms, one of which is en suite. All beds are complete with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. In total you have 2 x super-king bedrooms and three king bedrooms, there is also a twin room available on request. Completing the upstairs layout is a well-appointed family bathroom with a shower, along with a separate lavatory. There is an expansive landing with a beautiful staircase.
There is parking available for up to 8 cars just outside the house.
While a car is highly recommended for your stay, local taxi services are available if needed, but do require pre-booking.
The vibrant towns of Guildford and Horsham are easily accessible within a 25-minute drive from the house. For your convenience, Cranleigh is a short journey away, where you will find a wealth of amenities to cater to your needs. There is also a local M&S just up the road if you do not wish to go into Cranleigh village. Please note: from May to September there is an additional charge of £30 per day for pool heating if required.
