Not a great experience.
Communication with the property manager was not good. We didn't hear from her for 3 months. Then about 48 hours before, we texted and got no answer for 17 hours. We were unsure if this was or wasn't a scam. She finally sent three photos and the house code as check-in instructions, telling us to park illegally "because everyone does it" if we couldn't find a spot. The house was as it appears in the photos; however, there was no AC in the bedrooms. There are two units in the house. One was in a bedroom that didn't function - the remote was blinking, but the AC wouldn't start. The other unit was in a hallway and not in bedrooms. This was a major concern for our party for a variety of reasons, to which the manager said, "Trust me, it gets cool at night." The house came with zero documents or guidebooks. We had to ask for WiFi access and it never worked. The bathroom on the 1st floor had a shower full of laundry and old towels. But the worst problem was that one of our party was accosted by a drunk and disturbed individual outside the gate. This person wouldn't let her access the house for about 20 minutes, when she got in, she was quite upset. The person lingered about the gate area, and when we confronted him, he got more belligerent and called his friends, who showed up. They seemed quite interested in the house. We called the police twice, who never showed up and the property manager said "this isnt my fault". We ended up running with our luggage to another resort.
