The cottage features a spacious fitted open plan kitchen/dining room leading through to the bright and airy living room. Enjoy a well-appointed double bedroom and a twin room, making it an ideal choice for couples, small families, or friends seeking a peaceful retreat. The walk-in shower room provides convenience and modern comfort. One of the highlights of Cartref Bach is its sunny garden, a tranquil oasis overlooking the picturesque meadows. It’s the perfect spot to start your day with a leisurely breakfast, sip on a cup of tea, or bask in the golden rays of the sun as you soak up the peaceful ambiance.
Take leisurely strolls along Pencarreg’s quiet lanes, breathe in the fresh country air, and savour the slower pace of life. Llanybydder is a short drive away where you can explore local shops or enjoy a meal in a traditional Welsh pub. Cardigan Bay is around a 30-minute drive where you can uncover this stunning coastline with ‘picture postcard’ coves, sandy beaches and dramatic coastline. Sportier guests can enjoy plenty of outdoor activities including cycle routes, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and a canoe centre at Llandysul.
Just a few miles further inland, the scenic Teifi Valley offers excellent opportunities for fishing, as well as attractions such as the Teifi Valley Railway, Gwili Railway, the National Wool Museum, the National Coracle Centre and falls at Cenarth. The market town of Cardigan has several arts venues and interesting independent shopping, along with a beautiful castle.
