Overall, the space was great. The location was superb--15 minutes to anywhere you'd probably go in Rome as a tourist, and right beside Piazza Barberini (and the subway stop). The beds were comfortable, the space was quiet--except for the birds at night (but you can't help that) and the kitchen was helpful. I do wish the kitchen was better stocked with a few more items and an easier to use coffee pot. The lack of A/C was definitely felt, even in May--opt to pay for it. And the pre-paid city tax is annoying, but standard practice. The trickiest thing was the check in. We were sent videos walking us through the steps before starting our journey, but we tried doing the actual check in without using a phone service and it was exhausting and frustrating--we gave up and paid to activate our phones. Once we did, things moved much more smoothly. That was the biggest hurdle.
