One of the hippest, most cosmopolitan areas in the city, Gràcia’s intimate, close-packed streets and predominately low-rise, Mediterranean architecture give it a distinct feel. Its old, one-way streets are organized around a series of plazas, including Plaça de Vila de Gràcia, Plaça del Sol and Plaça de la Virreina. “Old-world charm” abounds.
Some recommendations about restaurants are El Disbarat, La llar de foc for catalan cuisine and Intrèpid de Gràcia, Sol Soler or Restaurant La Pepita if you wanna try tasty tapas. I'm sure you will have a lovely time during your stay!
Gran de Gràcia is a shopping street that has been the centre of the district's commercial area for a long time already, dating to the time when Gràcia was a separate town (that is, until 1897). It stretches from the West side of Passeig de Gràcia towards Plaça Lesseps.
You will have exclusive access to the whole apartment.
The rooftop terrace is shared with the other 3 neighbors in the building (but I have never seen 2 of them up there).
The apartment has been decorated with nice design furniture to make you feel comfortable during your stay and fully equipped with everything you need for up to 6 guests.
This is a 2 Bedroom apt, one of them has 2 single beds and the other one is a double bed. There's also a comfortable sofa-double bed in the living room. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and have their own bathroom.
From the living room and balcony, you can enjoy some wonderful views of Gran de Gracia.
The kitchen and the living room are connected by a charming window. The dining table can sit 8 guests and can also be extended, allowing you to have family dinner together while you are in Barcelona.
We will provide you some basic kitchen ingredients like sugar, salt, olive oil, vinegar, coffee, tea. There is also a Nespreso coffee machine which you can use to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning.
Other kitchen appliances you will find are a kettle, toaster, microwave oven, the conventional oven and the dishwasher, so you don't loose your precious holiday time washing dishes :) (note: dishwasher will be installed at the end of May 2019)
For transportation, Gràcia is served by the L3 (Green) and L4 (Yellow) lines of the Barcelona metro, with stops at Penitents, Vallcarca, Lesseps, and Fontana on the L3, and Joanic and Verdaguer on the L4. The Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) also operate the Gràcia station of the Barcelona - Metro de Vallès line. Additionally, numerous bus and night bus lines in the TMB Barcelona system cover Gràcia. As with the rest of the city, bikes are very common.
All foreign vehicles must register to drive around Barcelona.
Those interested will have to request the registration of the vehicle in the Metropolitan Registry of foreign vehicles.
Once the fulfillment of the requirements has been validated, the applicant will be notified of the registration of the vehicle and the authorization to circulate in Barcelona.
Vehicle registration will be resolved (accepted, denied or incomplete) within 15 business days of the request.
There is a € 5 management fee.
