Sunset Villa - happy place!

Perched on a dune crest in the tranquil neighbourhood of Vermont, Sunset Villa offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a modern holiday villa with a contemporary charm, surrounded by a beautifully lush, landscaped garden. It is located just a 5 minute walk to Breakfast Bay Beach and the coastal paths.

The flow of the villa allows for relaxed, private entertainment outside and in, with large sliding doors enabling free movement from the outside braai area and swimming pool to the open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge.

This “happy place” can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms. The main en-suite bedroom with queen-size bed and private balcony can be found upstairs and overlooks the nature reserve with spectacular views of the mountain range. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower and bath ideal for sunset relaxation amidst nature’s rest and calm. It also has its own walk-in closet with ample space. The second en-suite bedroom with queen-size bed can be found downstairs and opens onto the pool area and beautiful garden, with the bathroom comprising a shower. The third and fourth bedrooms are also downstairs and have access to a shared bathroom with shower, and both have cupboard space. These rooms feature twin beds. Bedroom 4 has a private patio area and once again has views of the garden.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a blender, a kettle and toaster, a dishwasher and washing machine. Cleaning materials are provided. The kitchen flows into the cozy dining room area and main lounge, which open onto the braai/bbq area overlooking the pool. The lounge has a wood burner stove/fireplace for those cold winter nights.

In the upstairs private lounge with romantic views of the ocean, guests have access to a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime functionality, uncapped Wi-Fi, a bar fridge, a microwave, and a guest bathroom. Guests are entertained by the most extraordinary sunsets from the lounge balcony. An inverter (backup system) ensures that power outages don’t affect the quality of the guest stay.

Guests can enjoy the private, well-cared-for garden and swimming pool, as well as the undercover, outdoor seating area perfect for al fresco dining. Secure garage parking is available to guests, or in the driveway, and the property is secure with an alarm system.

Vermont is quiet and peaceful; green belts offering a large variety of bird life and a sense of being close to nature. Access to the other famous Hermanus beaches, a number of restaurants, art galleries and coffee shops is a short drive away.
