House Fynbos - sea view far and wide

House Fynbos is a lovely self-catering holiday home overlooking the well-known Davies Pool in Onrus, Hermanus. The newly built and craftily furnished home offers plenty of spaces to relax in, with panoramic views of both the sea and majestic Overberg mountains. Davies Pool is ideal for swimming and especially safe for children.

The house comprises 5 bedrooms and can accommodate 10 guests. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, and a sliding door opening onto an enclosed outdoor shower. The second mountain-facing bedroom has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower, and leads to a small patio enclave. The third bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a queen-size bed. This room has a small bay window ideal for reading. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the fifth bedroom comprises two single beds. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are located on the seaside wing and share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There’s a guest toilet on the upper floor. Crisp linen and towels are provided.

A beautifully crafted staircase provides access from the bedrooms floor to the upper living area overlooking the ocean and stunning mountains. This prime family space offers a beautiful kitchen, dining room and lounge area, and balconies extending outwards both on the sea and mountain sides. A quaint reading corner and a private balcony on the bedrooms floor can be used for a bit of DIY R&R. A private garden bench provides for relaxation in one of the beautiful corners of the premise.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, kettle and toaster, a dishwasher and a washing machine. A guest toilet is also featured on the upper floor.

Additional features include Weber braai facilities, free Wi-Fi, secure garage parking for up to four cars and off-street parking. An inverter (backup system) ensures that power outages don't affect the quality of the guest's stay.

The house is ideally located within a short drive to Onrus Beach, the Coffee Corner, which serves fabulous breakfast and lunches. The Heartbeat Cafe deli and bakery serves delicious, fresh croissants and artisan breads everyday. The well-known Milk Restaurant offering superb breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as Molteno?s restaurant can be reached in a couple of minutes. Onrus is excellent for walking along the coastal paths, and perfect for nature lovers, and the Onrus beach is one of the top rated beaches in the country.
