La Pimpinella consists of a main building with 6 bedrooms, plus two annexes only a few metres away and respectively with 4 and 2 bedrooms. In the large hall called "Teatro" there is a vast communal area suitable for hosting all the members of the group and equipped with a kitchen, a large dining area and a living room with a big screen TV.
The owners, who live in a section of the main house, are very kind and hospitable, and show great respect for the privacy of their guests. The outdoor areas and the swimming pool are for the exclusive use of customers.
In a raised position with respect to the house there is a beautiful swimming pool reserved for the exclusive use of guests.
Nature lovers will adore the surrounding woods and nature trails that will lead you to discover the area, its beauties and its special places such as the "Leonardo da Vinci Bridle Way" (path 457). The ancient dams, situated along the Agliena and Borraccio rivers, were studied by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1540, and evidence of his work can be found in his Codex Leicester, now owned by Bill Gates.
In the nearby village of Barberino Val d'Elsa (less than 3 km away) there are all kinds of shops and restaurants with panoramic views where you can enjoy typical Tuscan dishes.
The nearby villages of the Chianti Classico area (Castellina, Radda, Greve, Gaiole etc.) are a short drive away. The cities of Florence and Siena are less than 35 km away from the property on a convenient motorway and can be easily reached by car or public transport from the nearby town of Barberino Tavarnelle.
The property is reached via a 2 km dirt road that is unsuitable for sports cars or very low vehicles.
