‘Atlantic Vista’ sits on the sixth floor of an oceanside complex with a large pool and has beautiful panoramic vistas over the Atlantic ocean and Madeira's famous beach. The apartment's daily breathtaking views are spectacular from sunrise to sunset and you'll enjoy the passing ships cruising the Atlantic, tourist catamarans and fishing boats during the day, whilst at night you can enjoy a bottle of our famous Madeira wine on your large private balcony/veranda whilst listening to the calming sound of the ocean.

This modern, spacious apartment has three bedrooms. The master has a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. The ensuite has a couple’s double sink, toilet, bidet, shower and bathtub. There is also a second queen bedroom and a third bedroom with twin beds which can be pushed together if required. Each bedroom has ample storage space to put your clothes, suitcases and other belongings. The second bathroom is off the hallway and has a toilet, vanity area with sink, bidet, shower and bathtub as well as a washing machine.

There is a beautifully decorated, modern and large open lounge-dining room-kitchen area which gets sun all day long. There is a large comfortable L-shaped sofa which fits 4 people comfortably as well as two extra seats. From here you can admire the ocean or you can watch the new 60 inch LED TV which has Netflix and Cable TV installed. Fast WiFi is available throughout the apartment.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with a microwave, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all the crockery and utensils you would need to prepare family meals which you can enjoy at the glass dining table which seats 8 people comfortably.

The masterpiece of this apartment is the large private balcony/veranda which is joined to the lounge, and master bedroom with sliding glass doors and window. Outside is an outdoor sofa which you can use to sunbathe or just relax and read a book (with a glass of wine?). There is also an additional dining table and chairs for those early breakfasts or evening tapas al fresco. There are some plants and flowers on the balcony helping to make it an oasis of calm. From here you can check out the pool below, see the famous Praia Formosa beach below and watch the boats pass on the beautifully blue ocean. We believe this is one of the most breathtakingly spectacular views on the island, that you have to experience at least once in your life and we’re excited to share it with you.

There is no busy road outside the apartment, just the ocean, which means you will have complete tranquility to relax and truly enjoy your holiday. The downstairs garden and patio includes a large glistening swimming pool with a children’s pool and sun lounges - perfect to work on that tan! There is also a small bar where you can order snacks and drinks.

The apartment is within walking distance of several natural seawater rock pools and an array of restaurants and bars - where you can sample the traditional 'poncha'. A promenade takes you to the famous Lido Promenade and Camera Dos Lobos. There is a bus available to get you into the centre of the city & a private indoor parking space should you decide to rent a car.

You have access to all of the apartment and the pool area.

We are a retired couple originally born in South Africa but of Madeiran descent. We are passionate about our island, and our son even runs one of the most popular tourist companies here. Please note the name of this apartment is ‘Atlantic Vista’ due to its beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. It can be found in the ‘Pestana Gardens’ aparthotel complex, a 4 star complex on the island.

We love that there is basically everything to cater to your needs close to the apartment.
If you feel like going for breakfast it's within walking distance, including lunches and suppers. If you want to stay at the pool side there is a bar that serves drinks and coffees etc. The natural rock pools are 15 minutes away on foot if you want to swim in the sea and rock pool. If you feel like a leisurely walk the promenade is right there and you can even go all the way to the small fishing village called Camara De Lobos for meals, coffees or just for sightseeing! If you're in the mood for shopping you have the Forum Madeira shopping centre for all your needs, a 20 minute walk away! This has a very large supermarket. At the Forum you have a cinema as well.Or you can just sit by the balcony and enjoy the view!!!

There is a tourist bus service that transports tourists from the airport to the tourist zone where the apartment is located. The Aerobus (Sam) tariff is five euro for one way but if you buy the return ticket from the apartment to the airport on your arrival day you only pay eight euros for the return trip. There is convenient bus stops close by and the bus tickets are 1.25 euro per ride per person to town. Car rentals are also available or various tours can be taken to view the island! There is indoor parking available.
