Guest Access:
To reach the apartment from the airport you have to first arrive to Monastiraki station following the blue line metro, there change into green line metro towards Kifissia and disembark at Victoria Square. From there the apartment is 22 minutes away on foot, or a few minutes away by taxi. If you would rather take a bus, you can take a 3-minute walk to reach "Pedion Areos" (aka one of the huge parks of Athens). From the bus stop "Aigiptou" on that spot pass trolleys 2 and 4 and bus 022, all of which take you to the "Skyrou" bus stop, just 100m away from the apartment.

Alternatively, a cab from the airport will cost you 40-50 € for a 45-50 minute ride.

The Neighborhood:
The classic Athenian neighborhood of Kypseli is 3.5 km away from the centre of Athens, and is one of the first neighbourhoods developed in Athens for residents. Here you can be a breath away from city center, while merging with the daily life of the locals in a non-tourist scene.
The apartment is located really close to one of the oldest Markets of Athens. Today it is shut down and no more working as a market, however the pedestrian street of Kipselis Market and Fokionos Negri Street is one of a kind , holding on to big history and glorious moments of the Greek cinematography. The place will blow you away as there are monuments in every corner of the area. Artistic touches are everywhere you look, and among the coffee shops and the restaurants the greenery of the parks gives an idea of how the area used to be in the past. Mini markets and supermarkets are within walking distance, and there is a chance to buy fresh fruit and vegetables at the local flee market in the early mornings. Restaurants that cook homemade food for the locals are also in the area.

Getting Around:
Depending on how you would like to fill your days there are really intresting spots and areas for you to discover. Downtown Transportation methods is the best option for you to explore city monuments and the city center, or even move around in different areas and witness how the scenery changes. Metro is the most convinient way to move around and is an enjoyable experience in itself to take with!
Red Line metro can take you to "Makrigianni & Areopagitou" pedestrian street by disembarking on Acropolis Station where the ancient monuments are close by on foot. You can also hike all the way to Thiseio and have coffee or food in the numerous greek restaurants.
Peiraus port is just 9 stops away from Victoria square (which will be near your location spot), if you would like to spend a day by the sea or take a small trip to the islands.
