Dieses schöne Haus mit privatem Pool und Panoramablick auf den Golfplatz Nr. 12 und das Grün des Osprey Point Golf Course befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend hinter dem zweiten Sicherheitstor von Kiawah.

Wenn du in die Einfahrt dieses Hauses ziehst, wirst du dich wie in der englischen Landschaft mit perfekt gepflegten Landschafts- und Rasenflächen fühlen! Ein Radweg am Ende der Straße bietet einen schnellen Fahrradzugang zum Strand !.

Zu den außergewöhnlichen Wohnbereichen im Freien gehören ein beheizter Salzwasserpool mit Fontänendüsen, eine weitläufige Poolterrasse und eine Loggia, die viel Schatten bietet, während Sie speisen oder einen Morgenkaffee trinken. Der Pool kann für $ 100 pro Tag (mindestens 4 Tage) beheizt werden.

Im Inneren des Hauses hat mehrere Wohnräume, damit Freunde und Familie reichlich Platz haben, um sich zu verbreiten! Die geräumige Küche ist offen für das Hauptwohnzimmer und steht im Mittelpunkt des Hauses. Es gibt eine schöne Master-Suite im ersten Stock mit Blick auf den Pool-Innenhof mit großen, Jetted Badewanne und Dampfdusche. Es gibt auch ein Queen-Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad im ersten Stock.

Die zweite Etage hat drei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein den Bereich, der perfekt für Kinder und Jugendliche ist, um herauszuhängen. Dieses Haus hat für jeden etwas!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we have stayed on kiawah for the last 6-7 years each year renting different houses. We unfortunately have seen the dramatic rise in rental rates over the last 2 years (secondary to COVID) and my expectations of what a 14k + house/ week should be is fairly high and unfortunately this house fell short of those expectations. The house is very very dated and in the 80s and 90s sure was top notch but now in 2022 not up to snuff. from the outdated gold fixtures and non functional ice maker to the non functional drink refrigerator and sparsely stocked kitchen with very limited baking or cooking utensils. the back yard and pool are great but the remaining house is not up to Par for almost 15$ a week. we had issues from day one half of the A/c upstairs non functional to a hot water heater that was either scalding hot or luke warm at best from one min to the other. the rental compamy however was wonderful and nothing but polite and accommodating. ESPM vacation rentals were great and very helpful sending their handy man out immediately then arranging for AC technician and then plumber to come the following daysi will defined rent from ESPM Vacation rentals again unfortunately I cam not recommend 218 yellow throat at these prices. the house needs a make over and updating immediately and is not worth the rental prices compared to other locations at similar prices. This was our least favorite house of the last 6-7 years yet our most expensive house. Kiawah is still an amazing experience and highly recommended and we will be back next year just a different rental house

When we got there the pool was cold( we had two toddlers who wanted in pool), we called the Rental Company and they sent a guy that day(Sunday) he fixed the problem and got the pool heater going. He stopped by later that day and the next morning to make sure the pool was warm enough for the kids. Very prompt and considerate. A couple items were left by our family and found by Housekeeping and they are shipping it to us. They went out of their way with their service. Thank you, hope to be back next spring.

Some minor issues: The pool was not as big as the pictures led us to believe. it was more of a plunge pool. Also not enough patio chairs for 10 people to sit comfortably, only 6 chairs for the outdoor dining table. And most importantly the Kitchen wasn't stocked well with utensils such as scissors, wine stops, a working can opener, potato peeler, sufficient pots to cook for 10 people (2 very small pots don't cut it). Especially during covid, when we didn't want to eat out very much, the kitchen could've been stocked better for daily cooking use.

Spacious home, good location but in need of updates

The home is very spacious and accommodated our group of 10 comfortably. The views of the golf course are amazing and the landscaping is stunning. It's a 10 minute easy bike ride to the beach (boardwalk 32) which is beautiful and spacious. The pool was nice for a post beach dip but it was small. However, the inside of the house showed its age (paint, carpet, etc). The furnishings were dated but comfortable. We had a few repairs that were needed and management was extremely responsive in addressing. Our one complaint was that the house was poorly equipped, especially as it relates to the kitchen. There were no knives that were sharp enough to use for chopping, dilapidated pots and pans and only a few utensils for cooking. We ended up buying a few items to fill in ourselves as we couldn't cook without. In addition, there was no DVD player in the house. We've rented many VRBO homes in the past and this lack of equipment given the price point was very disappointing. Overall, we had a fun 2 weeks and enjoyed the house. With some minor investments by the owners, this house could be great (and not just good).

This home has a wonderful layout and beautiful landscaping/golf course views. Very private master suite which allowed for great sleep while the younger members of our party enjoyed themselves during the night hours. The kitchen and family room are very spacious and made for a great hang out area. The pool was perfect, well maintained, and had a lovely view of the Osprey Point golf course. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Only constructive comment to add is that the home is approaching the point where it could use some updating from a paint and furniture perspective. The size and layout of the home made up for some of the outdated furnishing/fixture. We had a great time during our stay in the house.

Experience

Although the home had an elevator, the homeowner choose to not make it available. It was extremely difficult to unload luggage, groceries and to get into the house when it was raining. With 70 year olds and a 3year old it compounded the problem. The 3 year old fell down the staircase inside the house. We were extremely fortunate that he only had bruises. The kitchen was equipped but only with bare essentials. We have rented from Home Away several times before and have always been more than pleased with the excellent accommodations. When we pay rentals like this we really expect more.

The only issue was we were planning a BBQ one night but the Grill was not working properly. We decided to cook the burgers inside and stove vent was also not working properly so it filled the kitchen with smoke. We ended up having to go to Fresh Fields to buy items to make sandwiches for everyone which was a bummer.

Family and Friends Vacation at 218 YT!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been biking past this home for years and always wondered what it was like inside. We were not disappointed! The home is as beautiful inside as it appears outside, with an incredibly relaxing atmosphere, beautiful landscaping and pool overlooking Osprey Point #12. We spent most mornings going for a bike ride to the beach (a short distance away) followed by coffee on the back patio. Incredible! The home features ensured everyone was very comfortable, and gathering in the Kitchen and family room areas couldn't be better. We love to cook so the Viking Stove was a real treat (we used the griddle top to make incredible Pecan Pancakes for the family one morning!). The Master bedroom suite is just amazing - the Singh Family has decorated their home superbly and we can't thank them enough for welcoming visitors. I'm hard-pressed to think of any feature we'd change in the home and definitely plan to return.
