Great Trip

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I met Nancy to check in, she told us about tourist spots, restaurants, grocery stores and directions so We enjoyed our trip.But it was a little chilly. I had tried AC but didn’t work well.

Wonderful time in Barcelona

Amazing location in beautiful Gothic Quarter with easy access to Metro system and close proximity to wonderful restaurants and shops. Juno was extremely accommodating and had his associate meet us at the property when we arrived on an early morning flight. We were able to check in early and had everything we needed in the apartment.

Cute apartment, great location!

We had a wonderful time in Barcelona! The apartment was cute, clean and cozy. It was within walking distance to many of the sites we wanted to see, and we really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood restaurants and shops. We had trouble adjusting the heating unit, so it got too warm at times, and we did not have instructions on how to use the television. But other than those small inconveniences, this was a charming place to stay and we would come here again!

Pre cruise stay

We had a lovely stay. Able to drop off luggage prior to check in. Very convenient location to shops, museums plus an Aldi 5 minutes away. Will stay again if ever in Barcelona.

Perfect location for exploring Barcelona

Juanjo's place in the Gothic neighborhood is in the perfect spot for walking all over the Gothic neighborhood as well as catching the Metro (very easy) to other locales. His place is typical older European with the tiny elevator and older feel inside. It was very clean and we felt very comfortable there. In fact, my husband got quite sick so we had to spend more time in the apartment than we had planned. If you are expecting brand new and flashy or fixed up and cutesy, this isn't your place. If you want a place that is authentic to how many Europeans live, this is it. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and awesome stay

They have everything there which made it great 5 day holiday. Location couldn’t be better. The one and only complaint would be the smell in the bathroom. I’m pretty sure either the shower or the sink doesn’t have a proper p-trap so I put a wet cloth not in use and the smell went away.

Great location in the heart of the city

You can’t beat the location, it’s easy walking to main attractions and there are metro stations close by. There are some great restaurants in the neighborhood, or some a short walk or metro ride away. The apartment was very comfortable and very quiet at night. We only used the kitchen for morning coffee, but you could make breakfast or lunch easily.

The property was nice and clean, but very hard to find had a little bit of an issue and the bathroom sink was clogged a little. So glad that they had an elevator instead of walking four flights up the stairs was easy to get to the property.

The area we stayed in was beautiful and close to many activities to spend the day. The house itself was exactly as we were told and was great to stay in the whole of our trip. I would definitely recommend!

Great property with top location

Juanjo`flat is a great place to stay! It’s modern and clean, has a comfortable bed and lots of clothing storage in the wardrobe. It’s located on a quiet street but close to everything. Wonderful stay & amazing location

I was very satisfied with the apartment condition and cleanliness, and the host was very responsive throughout our stay. You can’t beat the location in the middle of El Born, so close to amazing restaurants and a lot of local artisan shops. The mattress is a little hard but works fine for a few days, and there can be a bit of noise sometimes from the neighboring apartments but nothing too bad - just bring earplugs if you’re light sleeper. The apartment is 4 flights of stairs up - there is an elevator that is fairly small, but I never found it an issue. FYI, the nearest metro station is about a 5-10 min walk, and cars can’t drive in the direct area so if you need to find a cab you’ll have to walk a little bit to the main roads to get one (and when being dropped off or picked up with luggage, you’ll have to walk a bit with your luggage). For the price I think this apartment is a great deal.

Owner allowed us to leave our luggages since we arrived early to the property. Which made a big difference bc that allowed us 4 hours to go around Barcelona b4 our officially checking at 2pm we really appreciated his flexibility n responsivessto our request. Amazing location!

Perfect property for a long weekend. Excellent location for all of El Born and the gothic quarter, felt close to everywhere we wanted to see (apart from Sagrada Família - but close to metro line). Lots of lovely food places near by. We only used to the flat to sleep in, but everything was clean and organised. Good shower and air con. On the top floor but that didn’t bother us. Thank you for making our stay in Barcelona so easy!

For this stay, the property was way over priced for a run down apt. Bathrooms smelt, couch was in need of repair, thin pillows, no comfort cover, no basic heat, only space heaters and we blew a breaker trying to warm it up. Ps temp didn’t go above 18c, probably closer to 16c.It served our needs, for a basic unit, but we paid for a much better one. This one should be rated no higher than a 7. Please upgrade the property or sell it.

Perfect for two

Such a perfect apartment for two! Excellent location, comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower, very nice kitchen, and excellent wi-fi! Situated in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, it was easy to walk everywhere and yet at night were in a ‘real’ neighborhood and enjoyed the non-touristy restaurants. The manager was very accommodating and helpful. I hope to stay here again on future visits!

Perfect location

We stayed at the apartment 18 days for a thorough visit of Barcelona. We could not have selected a better location. You can walk to almost all sites of interest and when you can not the metro is five minutes from the apartment. The staff is friendly and very helpful (proactive). The apartment facilities are as described. We will recommend the apartment to friends and families.

Comfortable Apartment in El Born Barcelona

This apartments location is exceptional with a number of excellent restaurants within a hunderd meters of the front door. It is walling distance from several wonderful museums and unique stores offering local products and food. The apartment itself is exactly as described with modern working appliances. Including a large refrigerator freezer amd clothes washing machine. Very comfortable and, roomy for two. One great surprise, it's quiet at night! I had expected a location in the middle of downtown Barcelona to have noise late into the night on the weekend. Not this apartment. I want to return to this apartment in the future.

Great location but that’s about it

Great location but that was about it. Dishes and pots and pans were dirty. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. A neighbor apparently isn’t happy a vacation rental is in the building and even made a poster about it so that made us feel awkward staying there. If the host at least mentioned and explain it it probably wouldn’t have been so bizarre but even when I asked about the sign she acted like she didn’t understand me. If only it was explained
