With easy access to The Eden Valley, Lake District National Park and North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The ground floor boasts a spacious living room with a large Smart TV and bi-fold doors onto the garden, as well as a large separate dining room. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and you even have a separate utility and breakfast area. Thanks to the size of the property and its setting you’ll benefit from plenty of natural daylight from all four sides, creating a light and airy feel. The property features five bedrooms, the first bedroom is on the ground floor and features a pull-out sofa bed, this room is ideal as a games room during the day. There is then four spacious bedrooms on the first floor with two kingsize and double bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms. You’ll also find a good-sized bathroom, with large walk-in shower and bath. Outside you’ll find spacious gardens with a patio.
Just a short walk takes you to the heart of Penrith’s vibrant town centre. Penrith has an abundance of pubs serving great food and local cask ales, alongside all manner of eateries from bistros and fine dining to sandwich bars and fast food. The high street has a good range of shops including the usual brands but also many independent shops for a great shopping experience. If you need to stock up on supplies, a major supermarket is just over a mile away, with the local train station next door, offering easy rail links from the north or south. Penrith is located on the eastern border of the Lake District National Park. If you like outdoor adventure you’ll love the scenery, walking and cycling routes, lakes and mountains nearby. Ullswater, with its famous steamers offers a great day out. If you have younger children, be sure to visit the Rheged Discovery Centre with children’s activities, outdoor play area and cinema, 4½ miles away. If you like a bit of heritage and culture, then a visit to Lowther Castle and gardens is a must.
