An absolutely stunning four-bedroom, two-bathroom family home with tasteful interior design and a spacious garden.
The home is part of a huge Victorian house located in a prestigious road just off Lavender Hill, close to the wide open space of Clapham Common at one end and the amenities of Clapham Junction at the other.
The property, on the lower ground and ground floors, is perfect for a large family or friends and features two television ‘snug’ areas perfect for teenagers to chill and adults to relax.
Clapham Junction station is a ten-minute walk away with regular mainline services into Victoria or Waterloo in just a few minutes. With its extensive network of train lines, passengers can also travel directly into Putney, Richmond, parts of North London as well as Gatwick airport in 30 minutes. Clapham Common provides Northern Line underground services and is about 15 minutes walk away and there are also several local bus routes into central London.
This property has recently been the subject of extensive refurbishment and the Homeowner has decorated with flair and imagination giving the property a real wow factor. Original music posters and black and white artwork adorn the walls and there is an eclectic and interesting mix of furnishing styles.
The home can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. They will enter directly into the wide-open living space comprised of a dining area which leads into the stylish lounge room with fireplace (not for guest use), wooden flooring, comfy sofas, artwork and a huge selection of books. Situated off this room is the first of two snugs with sofa and TV.
The fully equipped kitchen features sleek white units with under lighting and has access to a small courtyard. It has a separate utility area with washing machine and dryer.
Just adjacent to the kitchen is another small ’snug’ area with large wall-mounted TV and bedroom 4 with a low style king-size bed and en-suite bathroom in modern white with bath, shower attachment, sink and WC.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, plenty of storage and direct access straight onto a terrace.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, storage and desk perfect for working from home.
Please note Bedroom 3 has a high sleeper double ‘loft-bed’ with a ladder most suited to teenagers or young adults and not suitable for guests with mobility issues. There is a workstation underneath.
The family bathroom is an elegant new addition with bathtub, shower attachment, sink and WC.
The garden is on multiple levels with paved terrace areas and a lawn area.
