Bewertung

Es handelt sich um ein sehr schöne Villa. Um auch weiterhin den Begriff "luxuriös" zu verwenden, müssen dringend einige Ausstattungen erneuert bzw. überarbeitet werden. Sehr schön ist die Gartenanlage. Auch die Betreuung insgesamt war sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Great villa with lovely views

Villa is beautiful, set up high with great views of the sea and mountains and beautifully landscaped. Bedrooms are a good size and everything was very clean. Kitchen is part of the lounge area and quite small but we used the bbq outside. The outside area is just lovely with a great pool and plenty of loungers and umbrellas and a dining area. The villa is a good 30 min walk from Lindos and well worth a visit. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars and The Acropolis is very interesting, with fantastic views of surrounding bays. Only visited Lindos beach and even in October the water was warm and clear. Lots of loungers for hire and places to eat and drink. The villa is semi detached and we were lucky that no one was in the other villa. There is only a low wall separating the two. However if you were a large group hiring both villas would be perfect.

You’ll never want to leave

Villa exactly as described - rooms are a great size and the outside area is huge with the perfect amount of loungers. Super clean with everything you need at your finger tips . ABC Online grocery shop is a god send- use it! Nikki and Katie from Lindos Destiny are brilliant! We had a hot water issue and they were very supportive with fixing this. We would definitely stay in one of these villas again.

Loved Rhodes and loved the villa!!!

Great villa and pool

This beautiful villa was much much more than we could ever have wished for.

We arrived here at the villa quite late in the evening with a lovely welcome by Cleo who showed us around the beautiful property. She had provided us with a lovely hamper of food and wine as our arrival was too late to do any shopping. This villa is spotless and we loved everything about it. We were a party of four with two little girls and the best thing was the really large swimming pool which we loved and spent so much time in every day. The bedrooms were large with air conditioning in every room which we needed as the temperature during our stay was the high twenties every day in early June.we stayed here at the villa for one week as we attended a wedding and it was ideal as the wedding was in the beautiful setting of St Paul's bay which was really close by. The villa is halfway between picturesque Lindos and Pefkos. We will definitely be returning to this villa to enjoy everything it has to offer. Villa Ioannis see you soon.

Excellent villa for relaxing

We stayed at your beautiful villa for 2 weeks with our three children. Facilities are good, pool is excellent, providing many hours of enjoyment, games and relaxation for all of us. A few niggles with some of the facilities that have been mentioned already like the upstairs bathroom becoming very hot during the day, and could have wished for a little more kitchen equipment, etc. but nothing that really detracted in anyway from the holiday. The staff are very helpful before arrival, even helping book car hire for us at good rates and with full insurance cover. A car is a must if you want to be able to see a bit of the island and the location is excellent at the mid point with almost the whole island being no more than an hour away. Cleo met us on arrival, having arranged to have the villa cleaned early as our flight landed in the morning and we were fortunate to be able to get in by around midday rather than waiting. Staff also cleaned and replaced bedding throughout the two weeks, made sure the pool was OK and were available should anything come up (which it didn't). Highlights for us included trips to see some of Rhodes Old Town, Prasonisi at the very south, selfdrive boat hire from Pefkoi and of course Lindos itself, with its winding streets, Acropolis and two beautiful bays for swimming and snorkeling. Lindos is also home to some wonderful restaurants with a range of prices but all serving good food with friendly service. Ice cream or cakes at GeloBlu were much enjoyed by the children (and the adults) and if you don't mind paying a bit more, we had two exceptional meals on the roof terraces at Arhontikon and Cesar restaurants. Other highlights Closer to the villa, snorkeling in Navarone Bay, if you can get to it! And one morning we were even inspired to wake early and climb the mountain behind the villa to catch the sunrise at the top of the ridge. All in all a fantastic, relaxing stay and really didn't want to leave. Thank you.

Fabulous Villa

Loved the outside areas of this villa in particular, loads of space and the pool was lovely although sun beds could do with an upgrade. Bedrooms are all good sizes with plenty of storage and full length mirrors. Air con is good. The upstairs bathroom gets extremely hot as no air con and it could do with a shower attachment on the wall-showering proved quite tricky. Downstairs shower is good. Kitchen is very small and not much storage space but everything was there and we cooked most of our food outside on the BBQ. Unfortunately the fridge broke while we were there which resulted in our food going off, but Selina and Katie from the management company were very quick to deal with it and super professional. Didn't like the fact that the dustbins were quite far away to take the rubbish, down a big hill which wasn't much fun in 45degree heat! Ideally you need a car when staying here, we walked into Lindos a few times along the main road and it took about 20 minutes to get to St. Paul's bay. Didn't attemp to walk to Pefkos as the huge hill put us off! Taxis were overall very good approx 10euros into the village and 8euros back. The beach is approx 10 minutes walk away and there's a couple of hotels there where you can have a drink and food. There is nothing else around the villa apart from villas, nearest supermarket about a 7 minute drive. There were 8 of us staying here and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Lindos is beautiful and Pefkos is also a nice resort. Would I stay at the villa again??-I believe I would 😀😀

An absolutely fantastic villa and service!

The photos do not do this property justice. The villa was exactly as the description given and was well maintained, including the beautiful gardens. We found the villa quite easily, the directions given were good. Jenny met us at the villa quite late, even though our flight had been delayed. She also provided a welcome pack of juice, wine, milk, bread etc. which was quite handy as the shops were closed by the time we arrived. We had cleaners come twice during our 10 night break to clean, change bedding and towels. The pool was a good size, big enough for swimming a few lengths. We did not want to leave and look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you Lindos Destiny. I would recommend both Lindos Destiny and this villa to anyone wanting a little peace of tranquility in a beautiful home away from home.

Amazing villa for our wedding!

We absolutely loved our stay here, such a gorgeous villa with lovely gardens and it's perfect for bbqs. We hired a car which was a godsend as its a fair walk from town but we liked it being out the way a bit as was so peaceful then if we wanted to go town it was a 5 min drive away! Would recommend and we would stay again :-)

Dream Come True

My husband and I took our children and their spouses and our two grandchildren to Lindos for a week to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The villa provided us privacy plus a lovely pool and patio area for gathering to visit, cook dinner, swim, play games. We could walk into Lindos and found all the restaurants and cafes to provide great food and service for a very nominal price. The week was everything we'd hoped and planned for...and more!

Lovely spacious villa in a good location

Stayed at the property with 2 other couples. We received a good standard of customer service from everyone managing the villa. We had asked for some extra supplies to be provided for our arrival as we were arriving late at night and everything was provided as requested. The villa is in a prime position in Navarone Bay. You can walk to both Lindos or Pefkos in around 40 minutes but a car is definitely recommended. Lots of information available in the villa for nearby shops and restaurants and things to do. The villa is set in beautifully landscaped ground. Large spacious villa with bedrooms all of a very good standard and spotlessly clean. The Kitchen area is relatively small for the maximum number of persons that the villa can hold but the outside dinning and relaxing area was more than adequate with a superb swimming pool and large barbeque area. Some of the outdoor furniture and lighting was looking a little bit tired but did not effect the quality of our stay. We had a couple of maintenance issues over the week that we were there, air conditioning unit required attention in one of the bedrooms and one of the electronic shutters had jammed in the closed position in the master bedroom. The air conditioning issue was addressed but not until the last day of the holiday and the shutter remained closed throughout our stay. These small issues did not get in the way of us enjoying our stay. We would recommend this villa to anyone considering a holiday in this area and we are already considering a return visit in the future.

Wonderful property. Wonderful Lindos Destiny!

The property was way beyond our expectations. This was indeed a magical place to stay. I would highly recommend this property and Lindos Destiny and all the staff. From our booking to arrival and easy car hire - a very relaxing holiday which my entire family enjoyed.All I can say is WOW!!! Thank you for such a memorable experience. Rhodes is fantastic - Lindos lovely just cannot praise this holiday enough. Every restaurant friendly you really cannot go wrong -my children loved the donkey ride in Lindos. The property was immaculate customer service 100% excellent. This is the perfect place to stay.The view beautiful.The pool very safe for children not to deep my 7 year old daughter wanted to stay in the pool every minute! I would go back in a heart beat. Vic

Beautiful clean villa.

Fab villa excellent outdoor space

Excellent location between Lindos and Pefkos, fantastic view over Navarone Bay. Car advisable to get around, both towns walkable but it is a distance. Outdoor BBQ and seating area was great. We were well taken care of by the Lindos Destiny team, any problems taken care of straight away not that we had many! Website pictures are all realistic would recommend this villa definitely!

Fantastic Week In Villa Delfini

We had a lovely holiday together with children and grandchildren, totally 8 persons. It was very nice with a welcome pack after a long flight from Sweden. Fantastic garden and an excellent pool. It was great to have a BBQ two evenings. It´s too long to walk to Lindos, especially with small children, so you definitely need a car and you can also take a taxi. The kitchen is not so big for 8 people, but most of the time we stayed outside.

Great Holiday

We spent a week in Villa Delfini with family, and we had a fantastic holiday! The villa is big, comfy, and the pool provides a welcome break from the heat. We had a BBQ almost every night, which was great. This villa is close to Lindos City, the supermarket and the wonderful beaches. The surroundings are really beautiful and quiet. We really can not fault anything about our stay. During our holiday we only had 3 issues with the villa, (but all off those can be easily fixed) first is that the villa is not signposted so it was very hard to find, and also we were given wrong directions from the airport leading to the villa. (its not called Navarone Hights, its called Navarone Bay) would be useful to invest in a "Villa Delfini this way" sign too... secondly, the ceiling fans did not work, and we were not notified of that, so when we tried to put them on, the fuse just has blown everything and we were left without electricity for the afternoon/night. Might worth fixing the fans, as using them instead of the aircon would be much cheaper. Thirdly, the remote control for the gate only worked, if we took it apart every time we needed to use it, which was a bit annoying at times. But, all of these things can be easily fixed, so no biggie, we had a fantastic holiday in the villa and we would not hesitate to book again! Also, the ladies whom are looking after the villa are very friendly, helpful and nice!

Paradise between Lindos and Pefkos!!!

My kids came in and asked me if this was paradise? It came very close!! A beatifull view, perfect swimming pool, a more than comfortable house. It only needs a good outside shower! We had one of our best hollidays ever !!!

Had a great time!

We stayed two families - total 8 People in Villa Ioannis. We had a great time. There where two bathrooms and four good sized bedrooms. The Kitchen and livingroom was not so big, but we stayed outside in the beautiful outside area. Top service from Lindosdestiny. You need a car to stay here. Possible to walk to the Beach, but to hot for us With 4 kids aged from 6 to 10. The villa is detached, but we didn't notice the neighbours at all. The layout of the villas makes it private.

Absolutely stunning villa with breathtaking views.

An absolutely stunning villa with breathtaking views. We chose to stay here with family for our wedding at St Pauls Bay and couldn't have been happier with our choice. There was someone to welcome us upon arrival and answer our questions, an information pack with local taxi number etc. all the essentials were in the welcome pack which is alway nice after a long journey! The villa is just a few minutes from Lindos town by car/taxi, it is walkable but not a short walk and I wouldn't advise it in the heat! The villa was decorated to a very high standard both inside and out, and surrounded by beautiful gardens. We would definitely recommend it and will almost certainly stay again.

Remarkable attention to detail - Delightful!

From the personal attention in making arrangements before arrival to the hand-delivered farewell gift from the management team, our experience with the Villa Ioannis Delfini was an absolute pleasure. The Villa itself is thoughtfully appointed with necessities and impressively outfitted to make one feel immediately at home. Some of the best points from our perspective were: a location which kept us out of Rhodes city traffic, but afforded us easy routes to tour the entire island; panoramic sea and mountain views; privacy and quiet, even when the neighboring villa was occupied; covered outdoor living area that was just as inviting as the tasteful and comfortable indoor areas; screen doors that allowed us to enjoy the night air without mosquitos; a wealth of bird life right in the garden; convenient and well-stocked grocery stores within a short drive; a kitchen designed to satisfy both casual and serious cooks; an ingeniously designed garden of plants conscientiously chosen for the climate; a well-maintained minimum-chemical pool (the swallows were diving to drink, so it must be good). Suggestions for the visitor - the wifi signal works well in the kitchen and one bedroom, but the other areas have no signal; paying for the villa is done through an American bank, so transfer fees will be added to the cost for Europeans; the fireplace is decorative electric light, not a heating source; a pair of kitchen scissors would be handy. The highest compliment I can pay is that we decided to "hang out" at the villa for two of our 6 days on Rhodos. We have never before spent more than one day relaxing at a vacation property without venturing out to explore. The atmosphere at the Villa Ioannis Delfini was simply THAT GOOD!

Lovely villa in an amazing location

We have just arrived back from a week in Lindos and what a week it was. From the first contact with the villa owner the experience has been a pleasure. We chose this villa as we are getting married in Lindos next year and wanted to find suitable accommodation for all our family which this offered and we were not disappointed. The villa was clean and large with beautiful outdoor areas ideal to chill out in and big enough to have your own space if you are with a large party. Each room was decorated to high standard ( I would recommend if you have clumsy people to be careful in the living area due to the two large glass tables) and had a wow factor although it also felt homely which is nice. The facilities are ideal with indoor cooking area and large fridge/freezer and cooker and microwave as well as a large outdoor bbq area for those warm summer evenings. The location is ideal and only a short walk down to a gravel beach ( we had access to this beach but have heard in the summer the hotel close by sometimes only allows guests on to it). St Paul's Bay is around 30/40 minute walk and Lindos is just a few minutes more. We did not hire a car but I would advise anyone to do this as in the summer months this walk may be unbearable in the heat, although taxis only cost around 10 Euros into Lindos. We look forward to bring all of our family and friends with us next year and are sure they will be just as impressed with the place as we are. If we were to recommend anything that would of made the experience more pleasurable it would be to add outdoor seating areas on to the bedroom balconies. The Villa was everything we expected it to be

We traveled to Lindos for my daughters wedding, and needed somewhere special to stay, and to entertain those family and friends who came out for the wedding. The whole trip was amazing Lindos is dreamy and the villa was superb. I would recommend Lindos and Villa Delphini without hesitation. Tim Frankland
