A secluded and romantic rural retreat
Summary:
A quaint stone Bothy set back from Y Glyn house, providing the perfect romantic getaway for couples. Designed with an abundance of relaxing spaces and luxurious touches, Y Glyn Bothy is a calming and cosy rural retreat.
Perfect for couples looking to spend some quality time together, The Bothy is a compact but comfortable space designed in a minimal Nordic style, with many unique features and quirks that give it a boutique hotel feel.
The Space:
Living Spaces
The Nordic styled open plan living space offers comfort and calm with its sofa in front of the wood burning fireplace, immediately evoking a sense of serenity upon entering. This cosy hideaway really epitomises the intimacy and escapism of The Bothy.
Bed & Bath
Stepping into the bedroom is akin to walking into a luxury boutique hotel room. An enticing double bed, sumptuous freestanding bath and delicate styling makes you question why you would ever leave. The bathroom oozes Scandinavian style, and touches like dried flowers from the local area, Halen Mon soap and soft light create a real sense of luxury.
Cooking & Dining
In contrast to the light finishes in the open plan living space, a dark monolithic styled kitchen runs down one side. Handcrafted earthenware adds a further natural inspired feel to the property. A dining table tucks into the corner to create a cosy dining space, with an area behind the entrance door for you to hang coats and kick off muddy boots.
Gardens & Grounds
Y Glyn is secluded in four acres of land, comprised of pristine landscaped gardens and a pleasant untouched wild flower paddock with elderflower and blackberries ripe for picking.
In the garden you’ll also have access to BBQ, and outdoor dining area, giving you the perfect excuse to switch off, recharge and be at one with nature surrounded by blissful Welsh countryside.
Pets are welcome to stay upon request, and there is parking space for one car at the cottage.
Guest Access:
Upon entering the shared carpark there is a path leading up from the carpark to The Bothy. The walk has an incline but it does make for the great views on the top of the hill.
On the opposite side of the road to the Y Glyn site, we have a poly tunnel which we grow season fruit, veg and herbs.
The Neighborhood:
