The living areas in this reverse-level home consist of a first-floor kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and a first-floor living/dining room with Smart TV. The bedrooms rest on the ground floor and consist of a king-size with en-suite, a double, a twin, and a single, serviced by a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 1.4 miles and a pub in 1.3 miles. Valley Lodge 55 is a wonderful base for a Cornish escape. Shared use of on-site leisure club at Honicombe Park (closed 25th December and 1st January only) including indoor heated pool, outdoor heated pool (May - Sep inclusive), sauna, mini gym, outdoor chess and tennis courts.

The Dartmoor town of Tavistock, with its pannier market, pubs, and restaurants, is close by, as is the well-liked fishing village of Calstock, known for its crafts and festivals. It takes a short car journey to get to the Donkey Sanctuary and Cotehele House and Gardens (NT).
