This 4 star apartment sleeps 4 (+2) persons is ideally situated close to the old town of Dubrovnik in a very quiet closed street. In the heart of Dubrovnik (just 5 minutes walk away from the Dubrovnik's main street Stradun), fully equipped apartment with all amenities for comfortable stay with the panoramic view at some of the Dubrovnik Old Town's famous Walls and Fortresses, and with beautiful view at the Dubrovnik's island Lokrum.

Our panoramic 4-star apartment is fully furnished with all the appliances for comfortable stay and includes a separate spacious private terrace with barbeque, a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner with amazing views on the sea and the Old Town. The 4-star apartment has 2 balconies, a private terrace with barbeque and the appliances for the preparation of the meal outdoors.

The town location is residential, very green and quiet, at only 10 minutes walk distance from the Old Town with the tourist area which is dynamic and lively.
From the 10th of July until the 25th of August, you can enjoy in the Old Town the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. It is a festival of traditional and classical music and theatre of international fame. Famous performers as Ramón Vargas, Julian Rachlin, Denyce Graves, Leo Nucci and Cristina Gallardo Domâs have all been guests of this festival.

This property was beautiful. The views were outstanding and the hosts were kind enough to let us check in early and meet us at the road. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. We would definitely stay there again if we come back.

Magical stay in Dubrovnik

Overall an incredible stay. The view of dubrovnik and location (short walk to old town) were awesome. Matilda and Niky are super nice. Fyi for first time Dubrovnik visitors: check-in is very tricky because the aprtment is not on a main street so be sure to have a good check-in plan agreed to with the host before you arrive.

First trip to Croatia

I booked this apt due to the great reviews. They were there upon arrival to greet us and showed us around the apt, views are spectacular but you'll walk about 140 steps up to get here. Well worth it! I would very much recommend staying here when visiting Dubrovnik

Unique and beautiful property.

Lovely apartment!!

Matilda and Niky were lovely hosts, very welcoming. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There are quite a few steps down to the old town, which was fine, but going back was a work out for us oldies 😄 Dubrovnik is one to tick off your list!!

Priceless getaway overlooking Dubrovnik!

This place has an incredibly fantastic view overlooking Dubrovnik and the Mediterranean Sea! The hostess and her husband were extremely friendly and greeted us upon our arrival. She had champagne and cheesecake to our wonderful surprise! She and her husband were very responsive to our needs! We are very grateful for their kindness and our wonderful stay at their perfect place!

Spectacular view and beautiful apartment!

The location of this home was perfect! Close to Old Town and the view and the balcony was amazing! Several steps to get up to the apartment, but it was absolutely worth every step. The hosts were very gracious and welcomed us with a lovely cake and wine. What a sweet gesture to add to our stay. Thank you!

A wonderful stay.

Matilda met us in the middle of a downpour, she guided us to her apartment and explained everything to us. Besides being very warm and cozy inside she also made us all a hot cup of coffee which was very appreciated on the chilly, wet night. We had a wonderful 3 night stay in her comfortable apartment, it was a bit of a climb from the old town but the view from the balcony was worth every step. She answered all of our questions promptly and made arrangements for our transportation to the airport. If we come back to Dubrovnik we will choose Matilda’s apartment again. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Great place from which to explore Dubrovnik

This is a very nice apartment to use as a base to explore Dubrovnik. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all very nicely appointed with high quality appliances and furnishings. The best part is the balcony that overlooks the Fortress and Adriatic sea. Great place to sit and relax to both start and finish the day. Matilda is a great host. She is very nice, but just as importantly, she was very helpful to us during our stay. She also provided some very nice treats upon our arrival (thank you Matilda). Yes, there are stairs, but its Dubrovnik - there are hundreds of stairs no matter where you go. The stairs are not an impediment.

Absolutely perfect

The property is beautifully laid out, spacious, clean, quiet a/c, magnificent views from every window of the old town and the sea. There are also two balconies where we spent many hours looking at the sea and old town. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable, convenient stay. It had two large bathrooms with is a bonus. It is quiet and the bedrooms are big with comfortable beds. Matilda lives in the same building so is easy to access if any issues arise (which they didn’t). Our only complaint is the excessive amount the young man charged to carry our bags up the stairs. We weren’t aware that he expected 30 euros. So we took our own bags down when we left. Lots of stairs but we had no trouble managing them. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Great location, gorgeous views

The location was a short climb down to the old city of Dubrovnik and the views were fabulous. The apartment was clean and modern, and Matilda was kind and helpful. Just know that there are a LOT of steps. So if you can’t climb over 300 stairs, find another place. But if you can, it is totally worth it.

Beautiful, comfortable, immaculate

Superbly furnished, immaculately clean 2-bedroom apartment with stunning view overlooking the historic city center of Dubrovnik. Getting up and down to the city itself requires going up or down nearly 300 steps, but only takes 10 minutes if you are in decent shape and wear decent shoes, and is very much worth it. Matilda, the property manager, was friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Would gladly return!

WOW! Amazing property!

This apartment is absolutely amazing and has the BEST views of Old Town Dubrovnik and the Adriatic Sea! Photos cannot do this place justice; you will be amazed at the incredible view and also the hospitality from the hosts. Matilda was incredibly helpful and such a gracious host! She even provided us with coffee and fruits from her garden during our visit. She walked us through all of the local attractions, restaurants and local amenities. There is a small market and also a grocery store close by and within a five-minute walk. There are also a couple restaurants just as close if you want to grab something close by for dinner. The property is in a PERFECT location for exploring Dubrovnik, everything you need is within walking distance. Walking to Old Town is easy and less than 10 minutes away. The apartment was large, bright, had a full kitchen, two full bathrooms and two balconies. It was spotless, very well maintained and had everything that we needed. Any questions that we had were quickly answered and the suggestions they provided were helpful and made our trip very memorable. There are a lot of stairs in Dubrovnik. The whole city is on a hillside going down to the sea. This property does have stairs up to the apartment, but we found them easily manageable and it maybe even added to the ambiance of the location. We couldn’t have been happier with this property and the gracious and helpful hosts! We have rented through VRBO all over the world, and feel that this was probably one of the best properties we have ever been to. The views were the most amazing of any place we have stayed! It will take your breath away! During our visit, we had an incredible and beautiful full-day boat tour of the Elafiti Islands, stopping at three different Islands. This was a “don’t miss experience” and was one of the highlights of our trip! (Suggested by Matilda). A suggestion for Dubrovnik for first time visitors would be to make sure you get the Croatian Kuna (HRK) currency, although Euros are accepted by Taxis and some places, we found they preferred either credit card or HRK. Croatia was incredibly beautiful, has such amazing history and the Adriatic Sea is just so amazing! Dubrovnik has the nicest and most welcoming people. It is a very safe place for travelers and tourists. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed with this rental property! Thank you Matilda!

Great Apartment ! Great City of Dubrovnik! Great Hosts !

-We had a memorable stay with Matilda she’s a great host. The apartment was very clean and met our expectations. It’s a MUST SEE we will definitely do this trip again someday. -The city of Dubrovnik is very clean and spotless, you can’t see one candy wrapper or cigarette butt anywhere. Other cities should use Dubrovnik as an example for cleanliness. -The views of the old town of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic sea from the apartment are fantastic. -Matilda organized a driver to pick us up at the airport. You don’t need a car in Dubrovnik. You can walk, take bus or Uber. We rented our car after our 3 day stay for the remainder of our holidays. -On our arrival Matilda was there to greet us at the bottom of Vicina Street (it’s actually a sidewalk leading to her apartment). -Her porter assisted us “thank god” in carrying our luggage up 132 stairs to our apartment. The first climb up the stairs tested our fitness level. Don’t let the stairs scare you it’s well worth it. -Matilda brought us to her apartment and welcomed us with an amazing homemade “Apple Strudel” , Turkish Coffee and freshly squeezed lemon juice from her garden. Also she gave us a bottle of wine. Her warm welcome made us feel at home right away. -There are many great restaurants in Dubrovnik. Matilda recommended a restaurant in the old town called “Konoba Rhea Silvia”. I recommend it they have Great staff, Great food, Great prices we went back on our last night because we liked it so much. -Dubrovnik was used in the filming of “Game of Thrones”. My son loved the “Game of Thrones” tour. Our tour guide played a role in the film and shared some of her stories. -You must do the walk around the old city, It’s breathtaking. -As beautiful as this place is I would caution people with disabilities. It’s not very accessible for those with disabilities. You can still enjoy your visit but at a slower pace. -The Old Town has no cars its very nice for walking around. -The “Health App” on my iPhone reported that on the day when we walked around the old city. We walked 7km, 13,100steps and 53 floors, Yes 53 floors. I have to say it was well worth it and we left Dubrovnik in much better shape than when we arrived. After a while as you are enjoying the beautiful sites you don’t even realize you are climbing stairs. -Matilda I want to thank you and your staff for everything. Great family holiday

We had an amazing time during our stay in what was one of the best properties I’ve ever rented . The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need. Perfectly situated just outside the city walls and within easy reach of nice supermarket, shops and restaurants. The view is incredible. Matilda and her family were incredibly helpful and I can highly recommend their property.

Amazing location and view

This apartment is in the perfect location and the view over the old city and harbour is truly spectacular. The only caveat is that you must be able to manage the stairs - 132 from the Main Street but somewhat spaced out and pretty manageable - even the kids did fine. Matilda was a great hostess and provided maps and tips of things to see and do. Th apartment itself was perfect for our family of five. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location very close to Old Town.

Everything was exactly as described. Just be prepared for the steps up from the closest street where a car can go - exactly 131. Matilda was very nice and even had a young man who helped carry our luggage up. A really great choice for Dubrovnik.

Amazing views!

Just an amazing panoramic view from this convenient and well-cared for apartment! It was definitely a bit of a climb up the many steps, especially with luggage, but when you see the spectacular views of the Adriatic and the walled Dubrovnik Old Town, we had no regrets at all. Matilda and Winkel, our hosts, were so welcoming and accommodating, also providing us with treats. We will treasure our family vacation that much more due to our stay here.
