Complete inner peace – that is what ‘shanti’ means in the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit. A fitting name for this supremely elegant, charismatic villa, located just a few kilometres from the centre of Syracuse.
Peace and quiet will probably be one of the first things on your mind, as you enter the property via the driveway that has been carefully constructed in Mediterranean stonework, passing the well-kept garden with pots, plants and quality Sicilian tiles invite you to a couple of quiet minutes of introspection.

The stunning natural beauty of Sicily’s countryside will not be the only thing to take your breath away once you step outside: the wonderful volcanic stone swimming pool filled with salt water will not only invite you to a couple of leisurely morning laps, but also to some intense relaxation in the afternoon and evening hours – even during the colder months, since the pool can be heated up to a comfortable 28 °C. Make sure not to miss out on the hydromassage corner either.
And if all this did not quite bring you in connection with your personal shanti yet, there is another novel area for relaxation hidden away in this villa: a massage room, where, if you wish, you can put yourself into the skilled hands of a professional massage therapist and truly become one with everything that surrounds you.
If you should ever have enough of the quiet introspection and if you’re looking to infatuate the rest of your senses, Syracuse with its bustling market place and more than a thousand years of history is only a couple of minutes away.
Once inside villa Shanti, you will find a prestigious combination of bright summer colours, earthy tones and a bohemian blend of ethnic interiors, ranging from mystical Far Eastern influences and dreamy Oriental influences to decorative pieces in tribal colonial and African styles.
On the ground floor is the living area, characterised by charming woodwork and beautiful parquet steps, set in the right frame by rustic carpets and works of art from various countries.
The fitted kitchen is on the same floor, as is a tastefully furnished dining area and a cosy double bedroom with adjacent bathroom.
The other three bedrooms and bathrooms of this beautiful villa are distributed in the lower area and the loft. Each of them features the same beautiful design characteristic of this villa.

Safety Deposit € 400 - All villas provide for the retention of the security deposit, before check-in, by pre-authorisation on the credit card or by bank transfer. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in the booking). Greater compensation for further damage is always legally valid.
