Beautiful apartment 10 minutes walk to Vilamoura marina

Situated in a prime location in Vilamoura, this beautiful, apartment is located on the ground floor of a new condominium, it overlooks the large communal swimming pool and garden. The apartment is decorated to a very high standard, is very well equipped and comprises of the entrance hall, shower room, lounge /dining room with seating for six people, cable TV, DVD which also plays CD's, and it also has free wi-fi. There is a sofa bed to enable 6 to sleep, and patio doors opening onto the large terrace with BBQ and patio furniture ideal for Al-fresco meals. The terrace has direct access to the pool area; the kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer, toaster, kettle, microwave, etc.; a twin bedroom with patio doors that open onto the terrace and the master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom which has an hydro massage bath and patio doors opening onto the terrace . Fantastic holiday!
My partner and I stayed here with our 8 and 12 year old and couldn't have asked for a better apartment. Considering we were here in August I would've expected it to be busy (which we didn't want) quite the opposite though as the pool may as well have been exclusively ours every day. Other tenants seemed to be Portuguese and only came to the pool for a quick swim. The apartment itself is well equipped with all you could possibly need and is very clean and spacious. It's about a 20min walk to the marina and beach which is a struggle in the heat but we used Uber instead which made it so straightforward and cheap getting from place to place. The whole surrounding area is very quiet but the marina comes to life at night. We do go to Portugal every year and I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this apartment again as it has been by far our most stress free holiday to date!

Had a lovely stay at the apartment. Only a 15 minute walk to the Marina. Apartment was perfect and even though it was peak season we had the pool to ourselves most days.

Great location great stay
The apartment was in walking distance to the marina and falesia beach which my grandson managed well. Apartment a little dated but pricey is reflected. Everything you need in the apartment. Small pool needed a little attention as one of the covers filters was by broken. Great stay would consider returning.

Best place to stay in Vilamoura
We are regular visitors to Vilamoura for our annual family holiday. This is the second time we have stayed at Portofino. The first time was in the apartment above this one which was great, but we were jealous of the bottom apartment having direct access to the pool without having to walk through the communal halls. This really made the pool feel like your own as the people who live in the apartments don’t use it much. Joan the host is excellent with her communication. And Sao who will meet you on arrival let us know everything we needed to know about the apartment. We stayed for 11 days, July 2024. Thank you very much Joan and Sao.

Week in Portofino
This is a lovely 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Apartment. Accommodation is spacious & while we were there communal/ pool area was mostly very quiet. It’s a 15/ 20 min walk to the Marina where you find the majority of nearest eating/ drinking places. Immediately surrounding apartment is all residential. One thing to note is the gardeners come a few times a week to do the garden/ neighbouring gardens which is quite noisy & also there is ongoing building work nearby which you do hear also. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Aucun état des lieux n 'a été fait ni à l'arrivée ni au départ. Nous avons du laver les verres avant utilisation. Le sol n'était pas correctement balayé , nous avons trouvé des restes de pates.Le programmateur de la machine à laver est détérioré ,nous avons utilisé cette machine et impossible d'ouvrir la porte le mécanisme a cédé et bien sur on nous facture la réparation.La région est belle mais qu'elle déception par rapport à cet incident merci de faire le point avec les propriétaires

Wonderful
Property was all we expected as per photos on website, the pool area was extremely pleasant however i could imagine it would be rather crowded in the busy season, i would recommend downloading the uber app prior to landing at Faro Airport as we found out to our cost around 25 euro extra with taxi! The fare should be around 30 euros for ref. Communication with owners were excellent in every way with no issues to raise. We would have no hesitation in booking this apartment for future vacations.

Exceeded our expectations!!
Apartment is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean! The check in process was so easy. We met with Sao once we arrived & she showed us around, told us how everything worked. The communication during the stay was brilliant! Location wise, you can't get any better to be honest. Literally 4 or 5 min drive to vilamoura marina. There's also a little square behind the marina of about 10 restaurants that were a bit cheaper than eating at the marina. Quarteria sea front was also a 5 min drive and that's a lovely place & much cheaper than vilamoura. Everything was literally perfect and the apartment really was home from home with everything you could need! We'll definitely be returning next year! Absolutely fabulous holiday!!

Apartment was very good. Ideally situated for the Marina, only a 15 minute walk. Restaurants and beach also close by. Nice and quiet during the week which meant we basically had the pool to ourselves.

Would stay again without hesitation
This is an excellent property in a great location, c15 minutes' walk to the marina. The pool is one of the best I have seen in a small development and with the ground floor location of this apartment it was like we had a private pool for most of our visit. The water pressure is also great and the showers are even more powerful than power showers! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. If I could suggest 1 improvement to the owner it would be to provide foam pads/cushions for the sun loungers as they can be a little hard. Otherwise, everything was great and I would be happy to stay at this apartment again.

Excellent location. Walking distance to marina Perfect size for 2 couples Only problem was. Only one person can shower at a time or cold water. Joys of on demand water heater. Not a real problem when on vacation. Time doesn’t matter😊

Fantastic Property
My husband & I had an amazing weeks holiday at this fabulous apartment. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The location is excellent. Short walk to the restaurants, marina & the beach. Highly recommend the new restaurant called ‘Graces’ (10 minute walk). Used to be A Carpa. The apartment has everything you want & more. Sao (Property Manager) met us when we arrived & she was lovely. Joan (the owner) arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport & bring us back again. Thank you both very much. We will definitely be back.

Great Property & Location
Really pleased with the property and its location. This ground floor apartment is a great size and ideal for a parents and children or two couples. Sun from early morning until late afternoon and also plenty of shade. There is everything you will need in the apartment. Its a leisurely 15 minute walk to the Marina, and 10 minute walk to nearest supermarket. Joan the owner and Sao (Property Manager) were brilliant and nothing was a problem. Thank you both for dealing with our requests.

Ground floor was perfect for pool access. Quiet area, 20 min walks to Marina and beach, doable without a car but only just. Property was a great size for family of 5 with 3 teens, clean with all mod cons inc. Sky Sports and good air con. Recommended

All good and met expectations.
Nice apartment, good location, ideal for families. Safe and quiet. We stayed for 7 nights. Children could play at the pool a few meters away from the apartment. Host was waiting for us with the key and a few provisions was left for us which was a help as we had a late arrival. We will return.

Great location for beach and Marina
My wife and our young daughter stayed at Portofino 1A for 8 nights. The apartment is really spacious, with large rooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a good sized patio which leads onto 2 pools, both of which were quiet. The marina and also the beach are no more than a 10-15 min walk, which we did most days with the buggy. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again.
