Overall this is a good spot to stay but a little tight on space. We were visiting our daughter at the University and the location was perfect for that; easy walking distance. It was also an easy walk into town or to the train station to visit London, etc. On the downside the house is very tight for space. There is only one seating area and the dining room holds four or six at most. The condition of the house is good, very warm and cozy. I would say this is a good rental for 4 - 6 people, particularly if you are visiting the University.

Not what we expected

This was a last minute booking as our previous booking on another site had been cancelled at short notice so we probably didnt study the property details in as much detail as we would normally do. There were 3 couples so needed 3 double rooms and this place looked ideal. The house was clean and location in proximity to Guildford centre was good. However there is no living room as what was the living room is the fourth bedroom so the only comfy seating is in the small conservatory which amounts to a two seater sofa and one armchair. The TV is also in the conservatory so we had to use some deckchairs for us all to sit in there and you definitely wouldnt get 8 people in there. In the kitchen diner 6 people would be the max you can get round the dining table and theres a shortage of cooking equipment if you want to do any cooking. The property is advertised as 2 shower rooms but is in fact 1 shower room and 1 toilet. In addition there were not enough large bath towels provided for the number of people. So if youre only sleeping at the property it might work but unfortunately not for much else.
