This stunning apartment, la dolce vita, is on the upper level and comes equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The double bedroom has air conditioning, additional ceiling fans and a double wardrobe. The American style kitchen and living spaces, also suited with air conditioning and ceiling fans, means you'll have a comfortable space to enjoy TV and WiFi. Best of all is the private outdoor space: the large patio comes with a dining table and four chairs, as well as lounge chairs and a drinks table for your pleasure. This boutique style development with modern flair is in the heart of Barbados' west coast. The apartments are only a 5-minute walk to Settler's beach; also, within walking distance is the very upscale shopping complex Lime Grove, where you can find the finest high-end retailers, as well as restaurants, bars, cafes and a cinema.

So quiet and peaceful yet 5 mins walk from shops and beach

This was our first visit to Barbados and the manager had organised our airport transfer with Beardy - a courteous careful driver who we actually used all week to take us to various gardens and beauty spots on the island. Ixora 9 is a modern yet homely apartment with a large verandah. Marcelle the housekeeper met us on arrival and had organised the welcome food pack which we requested on booking. The main room is spacious and light with air con and ceiling fan, with a splendid up to date kitchen with all facilities and equipment. The bedroom also has access on to the verandah and has air con and a ceiling fan; the bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom has a great shower. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The shady verandah has a glass dining table with comfy chairs - perfect for meals al fresco - plus lounge chairs. There are also 2 fold up chairs you can carry with you to the beach. Pool towels are provided. The best part of this property is the peace and quiet - waking up in the morning to birdsong and then watching monkeys scamper through the adjacent trees. We met a few fellow Brits by the lovely pool - some of whom have been coming here for the last 26 years! It's just an easy level stroll to the various quiet Holetown beaches, a huge Massy supermarket (great salad bar and hot local food bar) and many cafes/restaurants - all of which have a happy hour to enjoy a cocktail or rum punch as you watch the sunset. The bus stops are at the end of the road - buses only cost 3.50 Barbadian dollars wherever you go on the island. Holetown itself is very safe and clean. Thoroughly recommended and thank you.

Clean,comfortable and great location

We are just back after a great week in Barbados. The apartment was clean and comfortable and perfect for 2 people. We arranged airport transportation with Joan and Andrew was waiting for us and alerted Joseph who was waiting for us when we arrived at the apartment to show us around. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony every morning and being entertained by the monkeys! The apartment complex is quiet and the pool area was never busy and very relaxing. It was 5 mins walk to the beach, bus stop or Holetown where there are a good selection of bars and restaurants. We will be back for sure next year!

Fantastic apartment

A fantastic apartment, very comfortable, superb kitchen and a very large balcony. The Monkeys were very entertaining and the wildlife in general was great. Great help from Joseph the property manager. The pool was fabulous and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Would strongly recommend.

Brilliant space, brilliant place

My wife and I stayed for a week to celebrate her 40th. It was great, Everything you could need. Also in a really nice part of Barbados. We travelled up and down the West coast and definitely feel that Holetown is a good space to use as a base. Go north to Speightstown or South the Dover beach. You really do get to explore it. The restaurants as well are great. Surfside was a frequent place to enjoy happy hour drinks too. Beware though, the Rum Punch goes down easy, and packs a hell of a kick. Thanks, we had a wonderful week, and glad we went to a place of our own rather than a hotel.

Great location ,

My husband and I had a fabulous time , great location, lovely and peaceful , very nice pool, walking distance to the beach and shops, the apartment was spotless, Joseph was there to meet and greet us ,he was extremely helpful and such a lovely man. Would stay again if we go back to Barbados .

Fully met our expectations, wonderful holiday

This was our first time in Barbados and we will definitely return. The apartment was perfect in terms of location, facilities and comfort. The presentation of the accommodation was exceptional and the owner provided a first class service from start to finish. The local bars and restaurants offered a variety of service and the standard was consistently high. The ease of access to the nearby beaches was a delight. We wouldn't hesitate recommending the apartment to family and friends.

Relaxing holiday

Myself and my husband stayed here for new year it was amazing very quiet location 5 mins walk to the beach and restaurants the apartment was lovely very clean and had everything you could think of.The people in Barbados are lovely would do anything for you.This was our second time in Barbados first time in this apartment and would stay here again.
