Top Location but not clean

The apartment is located 5 min away from the tube station and therefore very Central. When we arrive at the apartment we were really happy at first. But soon we noticed that the bin was not emptied ans that some towels were laying around where we were not sure if they were clean or dirty. Moreover the toilet paper was empty and no other could be found. After asking the host I couldn't get a answer so we had to buy some. One the second day we found moths especially on the top floor and they kept showing up. Overall the apartment would be lovely if it would be cleaned better and after treating the carpet so that the moths are gone.

Central Location

The property was centrally located and the cleaning lady was very helpful. My wallet and phone were stolen on the metro and she called the property owner for me and as he directed gave me the key. The property was clean and the only thing we had trouble with was a leaky faucet and the cooktop was locked and we couldn't unlock it. Overall it was a good experience. A fan would be nice on those few hot days.

Nice apartment, but no A/C

The apartment was nice and clean. Great location - close to a supermarket and to a couple of restaurants, 5 min walk to the West Kensington subway station, and you are downtown in no time. Communication could be improved, I was not getting a response from the host via VRBO messages, had to call the customer service to reach him, but from that point on we messaged through WhatsApp and the check-in process went nice and smooth. I believe they had a staffing issue, so that may have been a problem. From what I understood, not a lot of apartments/houses have A/Cs in London (just like this one), so if you visit in summer you would need to open a window to cool the apartment down, as it gets pretty cool at night. Keep in mind the sunrise is early (at about 4:30am-4:45am), since you have to keep the drapes open for cool air, the daylight may wake you up early. Also, the birds start singing with the sunrise, while it’s pretty they’ll wake you up as well. So, if you are planning on sleeping in make sure to bring your Eye Cover Sleep Mask and Ear Plugs.

Apparemment agréable, proche de ligne de metro "Centrale". Proche tout commerces à 30 min à pieds de Kensington Gardens et Hyde Park. Quarter calme. Seul petit bémol, quelques mites cachées dans la moquette. Bonne chasse :-)

Well-equipped flat in great location

We stayed with our two girls who enjoyed sleeping upstairs. The location is great - 1min walk to a supermarket and 3min walk to the West Kensington station. The flat is well-equipped. Nice shower. We agreed with the host to check-in a bit earlier - thanks! What can be improved is the process of getting new bed linen and towels - since the previous guests left at the same day when we arrived, the bed linen were washed at the same day and were still a bit wet in the evening. We dried them. We also recommend a bit more proactive communication regarding the check-in and check-out process. Overall the cleanliness was ok and we felt well and can recommend the flat.
