Bathroom: Roll Top Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The loft provides a private and well-equipped space with parking, separate entrance and self-contained amenities. Original features such as beams, roof trusses, doors, floorboards and staircase blend seamlessly with modern comforts. Please note that access is via a steep narrow staircase with restricted head height, making the loft unsuitable for wheelchair users or individuals with mobility issues. Guests are welcome to bring their travel cot/toddler bed and can request a highchair. The owner thoughtfully provides complementary shampoo, essentials and a hairdryer.
The village green, just a 2-minute walk along a footpath, features a 16th-century pub with a garden serving lunch and dinner. This pub serves as a great starting point for various walks, cycle routes, and bridlepaths. The famous Black Down, the highest point in the National Park, is accessible on foot. Near the village green, there’s a recreation ground with a pavilion and an outdoor café. This area hosts cricket, football, stoolball matches, and hot-air balloon flights. Three well-maintained tennis courts and outdoor fitness classes are also available. Within a 30-minute walk via footpaths, you’ll find two more pubs, one with a popular Indian restaurant offering takeaways.
Within a 15-20 minute drive are Petworth, known for its antique shops, stately home, art collection, gardens, and open-air concerts, and Midhurst, renowned for polo at Cowdray Park. Frensham Great Pond is nearby for sailing, canoeing, and open-water swimming. Golf enthusiasts can visit courses at Hindhead, Old Thorns, Liphook, and Cowdray, while fishing is available at Grayshott Angling Club. Goodwood, 25-30 minutes away, hosts events like the Festival of Speed, Revival, and horse racing, and offers self-fly hire, as well as Harvard and Spitfire flight experiences. Chichester and West Wittering, with its award-winning sandy beach, are reachable within 35-45 minutes, depending on local traffic.
