There are many tourist attractions in the vicinity, including the Tall Ships Harbour at Charlestown, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the Eden Project, all of which are accessible by car in under 15 minutes. Only 5 miles separate the picturesque Roseland Peninsula with the villages of St. Mawes and St. Just-in-Roseland from the charming fishing harbour at Mevagissey, which has a passenger ferry across the bay to Fowey.
