It's a lovely walk to the beach, the town, lighthouse, and Happy Valley. It's a large house with nicely decorated seaside themed rooms. Sleeps 11 plus a baby. It's good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and pets. Baby facilities. BEACH PARKING reimbursed if requested.

It's seaside themed
There's lots of rooms so guests can get space away from one another.
Very large double lounge which is good for entertaining and watching movies together. There's outside space and an outdoor sofa. There is also an Ikea sofa bed with topper for extra comfort.
It's a lovely, relaxing, homely place which has been decorated throughout with a beach theme to make you feel like you're at the beach.

It's a lovely walk to the beach, the town, the lighthouse, woods and Happy Valley.
Given it's location it's not in a busy area or affected by the holiday traffic particularly. There's a corner shop, church, fish and chip shop, hair and beauticians and Chinese within a 1-2 minute walk. There's a park 5 minutes away.
The house DOESN'T have it's own car parking. The parking next to the house is the neighbours. However, the house does have two ON STREET car parking spaces OUTSIDE THE FRONT which is handy for unpacking. You can generally secure these.

There is a washing machine at the property, this has been installed for the use of our long term rentals in the winter, if you are staying on a short term break and wish to use the washing machine prior consent is requested.
PRAGMATIC NOTE: It's a fairly big house. Things won't be perfect but they should be 95%. This house is a private home, as opposed to a hotel in a big international chain. We generally have heavy use by families and lots of children. Inevitably this generates some wear and tear. We're aware there are some broken drawers in the freeze for example. If you break anything don't worry, just let us know and we can get the handyman/lady to come out. We won't judge you. Please in turn don't judge us.
Sand sometimes catches under the skirting of the laminate floor and sometimes blows out. It's like the forth bridge getting everything nice. If you're a perfectionist this place isn't for you, I'd go for a hotel which will probably be twice the price and half as less room.
Dogs are welcome at a charge of £50 per week. Please make sure you clean up after them when you leave.
