Horrible experience
We are a family of over with our children being under 10 years old. We had stayed at this property in July of this year and it was awful. Right after checking in, we tried to reach out to the management company, Houst, but there was no answer on the number they had provided which they had insured was 24/7 service. The email we sent to them was also not responded to till a day or so later. Communication with them was extremely poor because each request/question was answered by them saying "We have forwarded it to the appropriate team to get back to you," but they would not get back to us for days. We were staying there for two weeks and it happened the entire time!
The pictures they have put up do not show the smelly flights of narrow stairs you have to climb up to reach the apartment. Definitely very difficult to do with children and suitcases. The entrance to the building always had trash sitting on it's step with drunkards and homeless people sitting there multiple times. There is a bar couple of doors down which made the street at night extremely noisy. We had to leave the windows open to get air at night. The property only provided one tiny fan. When we requested them to provide another, they took days to get back to us and then let us know we can get it ourselves for no more than 40 pounds and provide receipt for reimbursement.
Both the bathroom shower drains were clogged to begin with. There were mushrooms growing by the door of the shower!
