1BDR Apartment w/ Terrace and View by LovelyStay

Due to the steep stairs, the apartment is not suitable for children
Set in Principe Real, surrounded by the vibe of Lisbon, this is a great place to get away from it all – yet close enough to walk to restaurants and bars.

Inside, (on a 3rd floor, with no elevator), there's a stylish neutral colour scheme using plenty of natural materials like wood and cork, taking to another level this fantastic Portuguese material. Cool and contemporary, the open layout to the living space keeps everything sociable, with comfy furniture and soft fabrics giving it a homey feel. If you wish to cook indoors you will find a fully kitted-out kitchen, who knows maybe adventure on a portuguese recipe?

In this duplex, up the stairs you will come to the lounging area of the apartment. Inside and outside. Particularly appreciated is the terrace looking out over the rooftops of Lisbon and the not so distant iconic Bridge 25 Abril. Perfect to drink up the atmosphere, enjoying the warm evenings.

You have not been forgotten if you are doing some work doing your stay .... an office space has been thought for you to get your work done. Private and comfortable.

Immerse yourself in the culture as Lisbon´s lively historical centre calls to be explored.

REAL PRINCIPLE AREA
Príncipe Real is the trendy neighborhood in Lisbon, being the place par excellence for new restaurants and concept stores.
Located above the Bairro Alto, the bourgeoisie cohabits with bohemia on a hill known for its old palaces of the nineteenth century.
Collectors of all hair, investors and creators are not mistaken, they took over from the Portuguese aristocracy and today occupy the many palaces of this residential area.

the district has kept its charm, with Portuguese vintage shops and stylists' workshops. Walk along the rua Escola Politécnica, before going for a coffee near the cedar of Lebanon centenary of the garden of Príncipe Real; where you will find every Saturday morning one of the biggest organic market in the city.

The history
Príncipe Real was born on the ruins field left by the earthquake of 1755.
Responsible for rebuilding the city, the Marquis de Pombal, strongman of the country under the reign of Joseph I, sowed these steep streets of beautiful aristocratic homes.
This district was named Príncipe Real in honor of D. Pedro V, son of D. Maria II.

Great place in a lovely, quiet area that's close to everything you want to see & do.

The place was as pictured. Management was very responsive when we had questions. The unit is great. It is odd there is no TV. We stayed for 3 weeks and had to use our iPad. They are very inexpensive at this point. Also, we didn't expect to have a stocked kitchen. However, it's nice to have basic things like salt, pepper, sugar, etc. Not sure if it's something in the EU vs. the states. Also had to buy our own toilet paper & there was no basic cleaner around to use in the kitchen or elsewhere if we want to better keep up after ourselves during the time.
