Beautiful property

Beautiful home in a quiet, peaceful location with gorgeous views. It's a bit far from any major city, which required renting a car (not a fan of driving in Italy), but leaving the busy cities and returning there to relax at the end of the day in a hot tub overlooking the sea was definitely worth it. We were welcomed with a generous gift basket filled with delicious treats, including one of the best wines I ever tasted. Beatrice was great about keeping in touch and making sure that we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend.

A truly wonderful stay!!

Thanks so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We had the best time!! We loved how spacious and clean the house was and how welcome we felt on arrival. The views from the garden are spectacular especially with a glass of Prosecco in hand (and sitting in the hot tub)! The notes on your website were super useful - our favourite place was the Trattoria up in Sasso! So close and so lovely. I would recommend others to do the walk around the Estruscan tombs - the age of them defies belief! We spent two days in Rome and found it quite easy to get there and back. Rome was amazing, and it was lovely to get back to the coolness of Sassolino after a hot day seeing the sites. Your parking tip was great! I will be back in touch when next in Europe! Thanks again for letting us stay.

Wonderful stay at a house with everything we needed, and a convenient location.

Seven of us, ranging from our fifties to 80s, stayed in the home for four days. Communication with the owner was amazing. She did everything possible to provide a good experience. The house was lovely and private. Views were awesome. Close to many things to see. My parents are 80 and it was nice having a first floor master bedroom and bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The hot tub was a nice bonus.

I'm Beatrice and I live and work in London where I live with my husband and two lovely daughters. When not in the UK we love visiting my home town of Rome and spending our holidays at Villa Sassolino, located in an area I grew up in my teenage years. We love sharing our secret places with anyone who enjoys a relaxing and genuine Italian experience in these beautiful surroundings!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

As a teenager I used to come and stay at my parents house, not far from here, and I cherish many nice memories of the surrounding villages, the incredibly tasty food and the simplicity of life. Whenever I need to detox from the frantic urban life I love to come here and retreat. There are so many activities to try out in the area, whether you are into sports, a food lover or passionate about our Italian culture. I always look forward to our next visit with my family to try out a new restaurant, tick a historic site off my long check list or get involved in the local life.

The house offers plenty of space, which makes it ideal for an extended family holiday; its position, strategically close to the main transport hubs (such as Rome's Cruise Ship Port of Civitavecchia and International Airports) as well the city of Rome, offers the possibility to experience a holiday that can be at the same time relaxing and action-packed! You can get lost in the streets and museums of Rome and be back in the garden in time for sundowners, all in the same day! You can spend all day practicing your favourite sports and then treat yourself to a lovely dining experience, along the many seafood restaurants on the coast, or the many earthy eateries inland... or why not in the very centre of Rome!
