Maiden Moor - an apartment that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Maiden Moor is a real ‘home from home' with full central heating, double-glazing, and two allocated car parking spaces adjacent to the entrance, ideal for those travelling separately.

The modern kitchen is fully fitted and very well equipped with everything you would need for a perfect self-catering holiday; integrated gas hob, electric oven, fridge with ice box, microwave, dishwasher, radio and breakfast table. The washer/dryer can be found in the cupboard off the hall.

The lounge is spacious, light and comfortable with a two seater electric reclining settee and two chairs, along with an extendable dining table & 4 chairs, large smart TV, DVD player, LED Living flame wall fire, along with fell views to enjoy!

There are 2 very comfortable bedrooms; the first with a king size bed and quality tempur mattress offering the highest comfort, plenty of storage space with two large wardrobes , and two bedside tables. There is an ensuite off this room with shower,WC and wash hand basin.

Across the hall you will find the second bedroom with a double bed, bedside table and fitted wardrobes.Both bedrooms are dressed with luxury linen and towels.

The fully tiled shower room comprises a walk-in shower, WC and hand basin. Cole and Lewis bathroom toiletries are offered in the shower rooms.

Free unlimited WI-FI throughout.

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

We loved the luxury of a tempur mattress and reclining armchairs. We have never been so comfortable in a holiday property, Also loved the location so near to Booths but with no through traffic. We are hoping very much that new owners don’t change the style of bed and chairs as we will definitely return if the comfort level remains the same,

Another excellent stay

This is our second stay at Maiden Moor and again did not disappoint. Very comfortable, ideal location for walks and 2 car parking spaces. We have booked again for next year and can’t wait.

Wonderful week

What started as a 2 night stay here developed into 6 nights due to the wonderful facility of Maiden Moor. Although Maiden Moor is lacking in Lakeland views from its windows, the location is superb for convenience with all needs close at hand and a few minutes walk into the centre of Keswick. Maiden Moor is perfectly appointed with new appliances throughout and the Tempur mattresses are a delight to sleep on. The smaller bedroom is a little cramped for two people but as I was only one, it was ok. The support from Keswick Cottages was first class which enabled me to extend my stay with ease. I would not hesitate in booking where again with Keswick Cottages and probably will.

Long weekend in Keswick

Lovely stay

Lovely apartment everything you would need. Extremely well equipped kitchen with lovely appliances. Spotless well done housekeeping only downside shower was hard to regulate either too hot or cold but didn't detract from holiday would recommend

Excellent self catering property . Our number one place to stay .

Our second stay at Maiden Moor . Also booked for December this year . Beautiful , clean and everything you need . Near to all amenities but still quiet and peaceful . No problems booking through Keswick cottages , very reassuring . Been visiting Keswick for 20 years and this is the best place we have stayed . Comfortable beds and 2 parking spaces . Perfect .

Comfortable haven in delightful setting.

We were delighted with everything at Maiden Moor, from the moment we arrived.I would ,however, suggest that the second bedroom is a little small for a couple. We had a bedroom each and were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped as was the lounge and the whole apartment had been cleaned to a very high standard. We were pleased with the proximity of the bus station and Booths supermarket, though neither can be seen from the property. We were also lucky to have three sunny days which were appreciated.!!

Excellent accommodation

Have been visiting Keswick for about 30yrs and have to say this was the best holiday let we have stayed in. Very clean and comfortable and furnished to a very high .

Faultless

First things first, we love Keswick, we've been wanting to spend Christmas there for a good while. Obviously Christmas is peak season but we really liked the look of Maiden Moor. To be honest, it was the electric reclining sofa and armchair that had me sold. The flat is immaculate, we had the bonus od it being decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is well equipped, you're 60 seconds from the door of Booths supermarket and its fabulous cheese counter. Parking for 2 cars is a bonus, not that you need one while you're there. Stop reading now and book 8t if you can. Other members of my family have already booked for 2024.

Another Enjoyable Break At Maiden Moor

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Maiden Moor and it won't be the last. It really is a lovely apartment in a quiet, yet convenient position close to the centre of Keswick and a lovely touch was that the apartment was decorated for Christmas. We were able to get out on walks every day without the need to use the car which stayed parked at the apartment all week.

Lovely property (Maiden Moor) in great location

This apartment is in an excellent position - it's close to the centre, very close to a great supermarket (Booths), it has 2 parking spaces but is also very close to where all the buses go from Keswick to the rest of the Lakes. We had no problem with cars/buses or noise from the supermarket. The apartment is very nicely kept and quite luxurious accommodation for the Lake District. Only two niggles - we stayed here 2 years ago and then neither the shaver socket in the ensuite bathroom nor the towel rail in the other bathroom were wired up. We put this down to the apartment being newly built/refurbished, but two years later it's still the same - would be nice to get these things finished.

Cosy apartment close to the shops.

A lovely cosy apartment. It is very close to the shops and not too far from the lake. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the apartment had a lot of little extras, a discount for the Theatre by the Lake which we used. I liked the key safe too as I did not have to fight with it to put the key back in at the end of our stay. Would stay here again.

excellent facilities and location

Great location, perfect for town and the countryside. The flat is well equipped and has everything you could need on your holiday the beds are very comfortable. The parking is a great bonus. This was our first visit to Maiden Moor but it will not be be our last.
