Obwohl die Suite mit dem Rest des Hauses verbunden ist, gibt Ihnen eine verschlossene Tür ständige Privatsphäre. Der Raum hat einen separaten Eingang mit eigenem Bad und angrenzendem Sitz- / Arbeitsbereich. Gerne können Sie unsere mehrstöckige Gartenterrasse genießen. Wir können arrangieren, dass Sie unseren eingebauten Gasgrill für ein ungezwungenes Sommergericht unter der schattigen Pergola oder dem hohen Tischbereich nutzen. Unsere örtlichen Wegman's versorgen Sie mit erstklassigem Fleisch, Meeresfrüchten und allem, was Sie brauchen, um Ihre Mahlzeit zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis zu machen. Sie können durch unseren Hinterhof zu einem schönen Wanderweg rund um unser Stadtzentrum, Teiche und Brunnen gehen. Wir freuen uns über die Gesellschaft derer, die interagieren und die Privatsphäre derer respektieren möchten, die dies nicht tun. Well-appointed suite

Cheryl and Don’s guest suite was perfect for a short stay exploring all that is offered by the Brandywine Valley. Although the suite does not have a kitchen, the mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker were perfect for our needs. The unit had many thoughtful touches, including bathrobes, extra toiletries, and small snacks. Muffins and coffee cream were provided for our first morning. The bed was comfortably made up and of medium firmness. Our hosts were very easy to work with and we never heard them (the unit is attached to their home through a locked door). We would definitely consider staying with them again.

Excellent comfortable suite

I can't say enough good things about my stay. The communication was excellent so I was well informed prior to my arrival. When I got there, I was delighted by my welcome and the beautiful, comfy, cozy suite. It was immaculate and had lovely amenities and provisions. It was absolutely delightful and I hope I can return another time. Highly recommend !!

Brandywine Suite

This may be the best Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Great location near Brandywine Museum where the hosts have anticipated every possible need of their guests. Home baked muffins and hard boiled eggs for breakfast, a separate sitting room with two comfy chairs for reading or watching a movie, very comfortable bed and a suite tastefully decorated. We will definitely return.

Great choice

This is a warm, well-maintained, and comfortable space, with many thoughtful and friendly touches which were very welcoming. We especially appreciated the binder with nearby restaurant suggestions and personal feedback. Hosts were easily reached and offered further useful tips. The location is perfect for exploring the Brandywine Valley and Philadelphia.

Fantastic suite

We had a great time staying here for one night. The suite is super clean and comfortable. The hosts made us feel welcome. The beds were cozy with plenty of blankets of needed. The baked goods were an extra special touch and were a great breakfast before checkout. We would definitely stay here again.

Cheryl was very attentive and provided muffins and eggs for my daughter and I have in the morning. It was clean and well decorated to make you feel at home. We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely come back again.

Delaware has always been home to Cheryl. Her adventuresome spirit though is quick to lead her off the beaten path. Whenever opportunity arises, she is ready to go. She readily keeps a small bag packed with the bare essentials at all times. Cheryl has always juggled her love for the water with her love for the mountains. As an active member of Fleet 106 for many years, she crewed for HOBIE 16's and 18's in regattas up and down the east coast and on the national circuit. Her love for alpine skiing lead her to becoming a ski coach and instructor for 12 years in Killington, VT. Cheryl is always dishing up some of her fantastic gourmet recipes for her family and friends and eagerly shares her tried and true techniques with anyone willing to share a glass of good wine and stay in the kitchen with her as her sous chef. Her love of fine food and teaching lead her to enrolling in cooking school and eventually teaching and directing her own school, La Chapelle. Cheryl's professional background is in Nursing with a focus in Pediatrics and Home Health Care. She is outgoing, engaging and comfortable with all kinds of people and looks forward to sharing her interests and home with you.
Don's passion for music lead him to a career in Music Education. He served in the Delaware National Guard 287th Army Band for 6 years. As an accomplished jazz musician, he was asked to lead the Brandywine Blazer Jazz Band and accompanied them on a good will tour through central Europe. Over the years he has had the privilege of performing in many nationally known big bands, the likes of Bob Crosby, Guy Lombardo and Tex Beneke, the original Glenn Miller Band. Don loves a good conversation, gardening and live theatre.We enjoy sharing our home with others and meeting new people. As lifelong residents of the area, we can provide you with suggestions for "what to see & where to go" while you enjoy your stay in our home.
