Genießen Sie das ruhige und doch unterhaltsame Leben am See in einem neu renovierten Haus am Crooked Lake. Upper Crooked Lake ist ein 735 Hektar großer See in Delton, Michigan, im Südwesten von Michigan. Sie können die Atmosphäre des Seelebens genießen, einschließlich Schwimmen, Angeln, Kajakfahren und einfach nur mit dem See auf Ihren Spuren entspannen.

Dieses zweistöckige Haus am See verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer, ein Loft, zwei Bäder, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Geschirrspüler, eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, eine zentrale Klimaanlage, WLAN, einen Generator und mehrere andere moderne Annehmlichkeiten. Das Erdgeschoss Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett und ein Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss; Das Loft, 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Whirlpool im Hauptbad im Obergeschoss. Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten.

Ein Dock steht Ihnen zur Verfügung, um Ihr eigenes Boot zu nutzen und zu parken. Ein Ponton-Bootsverleih befindet sich direkt gegenüber vom Stoney Point Campground. Wir haben 2 Kajaks zur Verfügung.

Das Fischen am See ist fantastisch und mit einer Vielzahl von Fischen gefüllt: Bluegill, Bass, Crappie, Pike und Yellow Barsch.

Die Aussicht ist wunderschön vom offenen Wohnzimmer / Deck mit Blick auf den See. Genießen Sie die Landschaft der wunderschönen Wildtiere wie Gänse, Schwäne, Kraniche und vieles mehr.

Relaxing lake house!

I grew up in Michigan staying at cottages around the state, so for me, this was like coming home. The lake house has all the charm and history of an old cottage but is completely refinished, with all the modern amenities. The best of both worlds! We stayed in the winter, so no swimming :). But I loved sitting on the large living room sectional and looking out over the ice. Very healing at a busy time of the year. The owner was easy to reach and attentive, the rooms are comfortably furnished, and the place was very clean. Super easy to check in and check out.

Great getaway on the Lake!

My mom and I took my two little boys (2 and 4 months) for a lake getaway (really just a chance to parent in a different location). :-) We just wanted a beautiful lake view and that’s what we got. We were able to set up a pack n play and a toddler mattress in the loft area. Sherrie was great with communication and gave us wonderful recommendations for entertaining my toddler. The house was very clean and the stocked kitchen was great since we did most meals at the house. The living area is a great set up with the two couch areas. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we go back to that area. It was a very welcoming town with things to do nearby (within 20-30 minutes) and Sherrie is a great hostess!

Wonderful Fall Getaway

What a lovely and perfect place for a fall family trip! The kids had a blast fishing from the dock and kayaking in the lake. We took advantage of the boat available for rent and spent plenty of time cruising the lake in comfort! Sherrie was very sweet and helpful, and we appreciated her tips and tricks of the lake. We would definitely book with her again!

Lake stay

Overall a relaxing place to get away for 7 of us. The kitchen was somewhat crowded with more than 2 people trying to help with meals.Loved the loft for the kids, and we enjoyed the books, dvd’s, and games that kept us busy on a rainy day. The owner, Sherrie, stopped by within a day to introduce herself, and respond to any questions. There were plenty of linens, and household items for our use.

Lakehouse getaway at Crooked Lake Delton

We enjoyed an Amazing family vacation at The Lakehouse! Sherrie was responsive to all of our needs. She took the time to create a list of Fun activities for us to enjoy with our 3 grandkids. It was fun to be on the lake on their pontoon and kayaks. We also enjoyed playing in the lake, fishing from the dock and s’mores at their fire pit. There are lots of movies and games to enjoy. Our family throughly enjoyed themselves and we plan to come back. Thanks so much for sharing your home!

Family Time

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The location, size, and lake time made for a relaxing and fun family vacation. The owner did everything they could to make us feel welcome and was in contact if needed. My grand kids loved the sand and swimming with the fish! 🙂 They town has that small town helpful feel and we really enjoyed the ice cream. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Nice lake house...

The property is nice; cozy and inviting. The king suite could use a mattress update, and the showers are a bit cramped, but other than that the property is good. Great location, feet from the lake, great accommodations. Owner is very friendly, and worked with us on any requests.

Great location! (but could use some improvements)

My family and I rented this house as a little getaway and for a wedding. Unfortunately, we had to leave early as there were mice in the house. With our daughter being so young, we felt that’s what was best to do. Sherrie did refund us, and we do understand that it got chilly outside and mice make their way in, things happen. Unfortunately for us it didn’t allow us to have the weekend we had planned. While the location and view were great (beautiful sunset!), the cleanliness of the house (dirty/rusted grill, cobwebs/bugs stuck to windows) could use some attention. Unfortunately it just didn’t work out for us but I do appreciate Sherrie doing what she could to remedy the situation for us!

What a vacation!!!

Sherrie and Norman were the best hosts! We had a medical emergency while we were there, and they were there to help in away!!! The home is clean, easy to find things. Has everything you will need. Kitchen stocked well. Furniture was comfy. We were outside most of the time on the awesome deck. Plenty of seating. But the best is sitting right next to the lake, firepit going, glass of wine in hand watching the best sunsets. Thank you guys for an unforgettable stay! Lol. Love you both! WE WILL BE BACK

A great fishing getaway.

Sherrie provided a great place for my brothers and I to have a nice fishing weekend. The house was clean, with plenty of space for 3. The lake was not crowded and we ended up catching some nice size pike and bass. The patio and dock were super nice and provided spot to watch both the sunrise and sunset. Also great to throw a line out during the morning or night time when you're not on the water. Will be coming back here again in the future.

Delton MI Lake vacation

We loved our stay on Crooked Lake in Delton MI. The lake house was exactly as pictured. If our little one would have been a little older, we would have rented the pontoon and it would have been even better. The owners were accessible and provided us everything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at this location.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed a great week at the Delton cottage. Sherrie was great to work with and quick to respond throughout the rental process. The cottage/home is exactly as advertised. Very comfortable inside and out for all 7 adults. An added bonus that was not originally offered when we booked was the rental of Sherrie & Norman's pontoon boat, which we took advantage of. It proved more convenient & cost effective than trying to rent from the campground across the lake. The pontoon was in great shape and large enough for all with all the safety gear included. We used it daily for rides to cool off and to enjoy the evening sunsets. Fishing was great. We caught keeper large mouth bass right off the dock along with perch & bluegill. A grocery store and party store were right down the road. And, there were several restaurants to chose from in Delton, Hastings & Richland. You also have a choice of a gas bbq or charcoal for grilling. The gas bbq could use a tune up but worked well for what we used it for. We did have one very bad storm roll through in the late afternoon but never had to worry as the rental is equipped with a whole home generator. Sherrie did call to verify that things were going okay for us as the storm was blowing through the area. Overall a very enjoyable, relaxing week. If all of our vacations line up again we would definitely look forward to renting this location again. Thanks Sherrie & Norm for a great stay.

A great family vacation

We had the best week at the Lakehouse Retreat! My family loved playing in the sand and the water and catching fish right from the dock. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Wonderful renovated cottage on lake

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this charming renovated cottage on a lake with a dock. Great swimming location. Saw lots of wild life, including two families of swans. The kitchen is well equipped, one of the best of all of the places we have rented. Sherrie was delightful and responsive; she even called to make sure we didn't need anything. We will stay at this location again.

Loved every minute. We went kayaking. The kids loved the shallow water for swimming . Water was a perfect temperature. Enjoyed a fire with s’mores at night . The house was beautifully decorated and it was a perfect stay !

About the owners: Sherrie and her family migrated from the inner city life of Chicago in the mid 70’s. This home is considered her childhood home where her parents hosted many gatherings and made special memories.

For over 40 years, the Weevers rented their lake front property next door and watched generations grow year after year as family/friends made Crooked Lake their vacation destination. We hope others enjoy! Sherrie and Norman
