Apartment in Pueblo Evita with outdoor pools

Situated in the well laid out development that was part of the house and extensive stables owned by Eva Peron of 'Evita' fame, and very popular with holiday makers. The development is laid out in the Andalucian style with apartments set in tiers. The apartment was redecorated April 2019 to a very high standard and is situated in Block 2 of the Pueblo Evita Complex.

Air conditioning is installed. There are 2 outdoor swimming pools, one of which is located on a rooftop terrace. The complex has two bars on site, The Clubhouse Restaurant with evening entertainment and Sams Sports Bar which offers sky sports and a games room. The apartment has been set up to receive internet TV, movies and radio stations. The complex is ideally located with local attractions within close proximity. These include Tivoli World Theme Park, Paloma Park where you can visit Selwo Marina plus many more.

Bathroom with bath, shower over, bidet, washbasin and wc.
Kitchen with good work top area, electric hob, built-in oven, microwave, fridge, cupboards, iron and ironing board.
Lounge with double sofa bed plus one armchair, coffee table, dining table and 4 chairs. Fitted ceiling fan and also a portable free standing fan for your summer comfort. Our apartment has recently been installed with air conditioning plus the bbq has also been upgraded.

Unfit fir purpose

We booked for 4 week stay, self catering. 52 steps was first disappointment, not told about the climb. Dangerous climb with heavy suitcases. In fact I had received typed instructions to go down a few flights and then up one flight. If Kelly, the 'cleaner', who I never actually saw, had not sent me clear instructions I would have been totally lost. Simon's answer to everything was that Kelly would sort it. This process did not work. Next blow, no Internet so had to arrange for more data. Not fixed till week 4 hence no satellite TV, just spanish mainstream. Shower fell from wall on first use and never fixed. Communication with Simon is very poor, he doesn't reply to phone or emails. Thus my complaints are not dealt with. Large terrace and balcony but not fit for use as floors were filthy with bird droppings and broken/cracked. Terrace furniture was old, heavy and no cushions for sun bed. Also no shade offered at all so unfit to sit out. Very disappointing as we could see the apartments surrounding and people were sitting on comfortable loungers on clean floors in the shade. To top it all the floor tiles inside were dirty with black fluff. It took 2 weeks of asking to supply me with brushes and a mop. I did manage to make it somewhat fit to walk on. I had to wash cushion covers and throws as they were ingrained with dust. The toilet was very stained and I had to purchase bleach etc to clean. I have photos of my complaints. Falsely, I was under the impression that matters had to be dealt with by the owner but I wish I had contacted Vrbo earlier as I have been told we could have moved to a fit apartment. Managed to speak to Simon once and told him I felt cheated. Heard nothing. I feel I should be fairly compensated but, so far, have been offered £100, holiday cost over £1,700. Don't expect anything and it's not about the money. I just hope that no one else falls for the promise of a decent apartment. Sandra This apartment needs complete overhaul. I feel I have been duped and am a victim of a false description. Washer worked, though I had to clean gunge from receptacles. Kitchen was fine, coffee machine broken but otherwise fit for purpose.

Super sejour

L’hôte est tres hospitalier et nous a bien accueilli, l’appartement est situé à environ 10min à pied de la plage , il y a également à proximité plusieurs commerces et restaurants. Petit point négatif pour la piscine l’accès était limité à 30 personnes.

Holiday at last

Excellent Appartment from entering to leaving and pool was also excellent I would say that only negative was that within the apartment complex there was an absolutely infuriating Spanish gentleman resident who over the years has sucked the atmosphere out of the usually lively fun filled experience of a music filled poolside experience obviously there are covid restrictions around the pool but on numerous occasions he actually called the police as he can’t count and your only aloud 30 people as to which there were 29 and he reckons there were 30 plus why on earth buy a apartment within a tourist complex if you can’t stand anyone or anything !!!

Good and bad

There were many things we liked. Location was very good and the apartment was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the overall complex was clean and had good facilities.The balcony was excellent.Unfortunately there were some negatives. We could not find the apartment on arrival at night as the directions were limited and hard to follow-we had to phone Simon after trying to find our own way for over 30 mins. He was helpful and sorted us out. To state that the apartment was down a few flights of stairs and then up another did not define what a flight of stairs meant. We counted 6-7 flights of between 4 and 7 steps at right and left angles to each other with different confusing exits .In all there were over 50 steps. A bit of a challenge with suitcases! All easy to adapt to over time. What we failed to adapt to was the bizarre noise in the bedroom. When the upstairs neighbors flushed their toilets the waste sound traveled down through a pipe which was located in the wall behind the head of the bed. This was loud enough to wake one from a deep sleep. This normally started at around 5.30 am. Not a great start to the day and it went on all day. This alone would ensure we would not return.

Excellent as usual

Having visited both Simon and Wendys properties in the past we knew that they would be of the highest standard, again we were not disappointed. The location is superb for families, the beach is only a few minutes walk. Communications with the owner were easy, very quick to reply. So good we have booked again for later in the year.

Comfortable, spacious apartment with two large terraces

Very good location with supermarkets, transport, restaurants very close by and seafront a few minutes walk away. Close enough to easily walk to the station and Arroyo town centre. The terrace gets the sun from about 11.45am until sunset (we were there early October). We had a relaxing week and would hope to return.

Great apartment, great complex, great location.

We have had a few holidays in Simon and Wendy’s apartment and thoroughly enjoyed everyone one of them. The apartment itself has everything you need being very comfortable with plenty of space and two sunny balconies to lie on and if you like to keep informed there is Wi-fi and tv with British channels. For three euros you can get a pass to the main Pueblo Evita complex which has a big swimming pool and poolside sun beds. There is also a poolside cafe and bar which are very friendly. The location of the apartment is ideal as it is very close to a Mercadona Supermarket and various restaurants if you prefer eating out. If you like to adventure out the train station at Arroyo de la Miel is not far away and there are bus stops on the beach front. I would highly recommend this apartment, it’s a gem.

Adresse pas Claire , difficile de trouver l'entrée . La personne responsable de l'appartement là bas était désagréable au téléphone, elle s'énervait alors qu'on ne trouvait pas la reception. Elle nous a ensuite accueillie en robe de nuit et pantoufles ( il était 17h) pour nous emmener dans un appartement qui était occupé . Elle nous a ensuite amené dans un autre appartement qui n'était pas nettoyé . Elle nous a demandé de revenir 1 h plus tard pour qu'elle puisse faire le nettoyage .... L'appartement était toujours aussi sale. Nous avions une poussette avec nous , nous avons été déçu qu'il n'y ait aucune précision sur le bâtiment rempli d'escaliers et très bruyant pour la saison . Déçu de notre saison ... Nous espérons un geste commercial de votre part

a wonderful stay

we stayed in this apartment for two weeks over christmas. The apartment was situated in a fantastic location for supermarket,bars,restaurants and beach.As well as this, the apartment had a large double bedroom and a large living/dining room come kitchen.The apartment was spotless and well maintained. We enjoyed it so much that we are returning in spring and winter. The owners are very quick at responding to any queries you may have.

Great apartments loved our holiday

We have used both apartments twice now and will use again if we can book our dates, lovely apartments in a perfect location for us, great view of the mountains and can watch the sun go down in the evening from the terrace which is a good size for sunbathing or dining. Having the aircon is a bonus and efficient didn't need to leave it on for long as it cooled the apartment quickly, really comfortable beds slept very well. Close to beach, bars & restaurants we always enjoy a walk along the beach promenade in the evenings. Love these apartments and will continue to book these if I can book before others as these are very popular and get booked very quickly. Owners Simon & Wendy have been great to deal with and reply quickly. 100% would recommend both apartments. Thanks for a lovely stay we all had a fantastic holiday.

Well equipped apartment with lovely sunny balconies

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 243 Pueblo Evita. It’s location is ideal for the beach, shops and buses. Although uphill the railway station is also within walking distance. The Pueblo Evita complex is quiet with a mixture of holiday apartments and residential apartments mainly occupied by Spanish people whom I found to be very pleasant. The apartment has always been well equipped but it’s nice to see that it has continously been upgraded with a very comfortable king sized bed and wi fi. Having two large sunny balconies with a panoramic view the apartment is ideal for just sitting outside relaxing or sunbathing. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone who likes to have all amenities close by.

Great place to stay

The apartment is situated to the rear of the complex. it is accessed by four flights of steps so would not be suitable for those with walking difficulties of wheelchairs. Views from the balcony look towards the mountains and a tennis centre. The main road is below but we didn't notice any traffic noise. The two balconies are west facing so there is sun all afternoon and evening.The apartment is airy and unfussy. There were plenty of towels for the bathroom. There is a large bedroom with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is an over head fan and aircon ( which we did not need to use) in the living room. Wifi was fitted when we were there. The TV has UK freeview channels. All you need, kettle cooker. toaster etc in in the kitchen area. There is also an iron and board and hairdryer. Simon was helpful throughout the booking process and responded quickly to our emails. We chose to collect the keys onsite, but Simon usually sends the keys to you. We used the pool area on two occasions. When we were there (May)it was quiet. The pool area is clean, but there is not a lot of space around it. There is a large supermarket across the road which is a two minutes walk away. Wine at 3 euros, cava at less than 2. Beer at 22 cents a can. Fresh bread and pastries. There is an excellent wine bar and coffee shop close by. The beach is about 5 minutes walk away. Along the front there are numerous bars and restaurants. Breakfast about 5 euros. Coffee and cake 3 euros. However the meals on the front are quite expensive. We found much better value and quality in the Arroyo area. This is about 10 minute walk towards the train station ( leave the apartment from rear , turn left and walk up hill). Its about a 30 minute walk to the marina. Very nice, had the best chinese buffet on the upper level and the worst, and most expensive glass of rioja at wine bar there. Trains to Fueingerola and Malaga cheap and regular. Both worth a visit The weather was great for the 7 days. I would recommend the apartment ( 1 bed) for a visit to Benalmadena.

Two very good properties each with their own character

These two apartments are very good on an excellent complex. The one bedroom apartment has two good sized terrace’s with excellent views, is well equipped, comfortable, bright and airy. The two bedroom apartment is also well equipped and comfortable but a little gloomy compared to the one bedroom apartment but should not put anyone off from staying here. The large single terrace is great for soaking up the sun and when sitting under the large canopy, watching the electrical storms and the rain! We had a great week at the Peublo Evita apartments with all you want in easy reach. Sams bar was disappointing but bye are two great bars, Cherry,s and the Beach bar and Cafe at the bottom of the hilll down from the reception. One note of caution is that there are many many steps so may not be suitedable for the less mobile

Lovey one bed apartment

This apartment is spacious both inside and out, with 2 large verandas which give the feeling of space. Kitchen is well equipped and has an oven which was good to have. The bedroom is large with a king size bed , and plenty of wardrobe space. We enjoyed our stay and Wendy and Simon were quick to answer any queries. We do feel that the number of steps to access apartment might not suit everybody . Thank you Wendy and Simon for a lovely break, we would recommend this accommodation.
