Tucked alongside the contouring National Trust grounds with direct access to the beauty of Rockham Beach, this surreal setting is best absorbed from the coastal facing hot tub situated alongside the impressive sky room creating a truly magical setting to enjoy the ruby sunset having explored the rolling hills and inspiring coastal routes which surround this unique property. Spacious and comfortable throughout with a thoughtful arrangement of rooms to absorb the sensational views.

Coastal footpaths hug the coastlines which surround this superb property, calling on your inner explorer to enjoy all this diverse stretch of coastline has to offer. After an exhilarating day exploring, relax and unwind in the sedate and inviting village with a selection of restaurants to eat. The true spirit of this inviting area is beautifully transferred throughout this village.

From the minute you open the entrance to the sensational sun room you are greeted with a sense of warmth and homely ambiance. This property is very generous in size and encourages large family gatherings together in the lounge and dining area. The bedrooms as well appointed and arranged on both the ground floor and the first floor with the master bedroom becoming a 'suite' the personal touches and attention to detail are beautifully transferred throughout.
Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom- exceptionally spacious (26' x 11') twin aspect room with extensive coastal and countryside views, large fitted wardrobes and feature archway leading to very spacious en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, W/C, and basin. The zip and link king size bed offering the flexibility of either a king size or two single beds is perfectly situated to absorb the incredible views. Also situated in the master bedroom plus 42 inch TV. Bedroom Two- Also boasts sensational views, and encourages plenty of light, this room offers a king size bed and ample storage Bedroom Three with comfortable twin beds (which can also be arranged as a super king) and ample storage Bedroom Four- Downstairs boasts uninterrupted views from the large bay window, this flexible room offers zip and link beds which can be arranged as two single beds or one super king bed, also ample storage

Newly refurbished kitchen offering a thoughtfully designed spacious kitchen area with Belling Five Ring hob, double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and feature seating area. This kitchen area also benefits from the convenience of a service hatch through to the dining area.

Inviting twin aspect lounge /dining area with sensational sea views, feature fireplace with gas fire, quality new comfortable suite- perfectly arranged to absorb the extensive views. The well appointed dining area comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. Heatherdale also benefits from a spacious entrance hall with piano and books for guests use.
Outside/Garden:
To the rear of the property is a level Sun trap patio area with uninterrupted sea views and patio furniture. The driveway leads you to the private lawned lower garden areas perfectly for listening to the waves crash over the rocks at Rockham Beach. In addition to the coastal facing sun trap outside areas, Heatherdale boasts a character with a secret hidden seating area in the top garden. There is a double garage at the end of the drive which is used as a games room, here you will find the pool table & table tennis table.

Heatherdale is an easy walk to the quaint village of Mortehoe with its 2 pubs, tea rooms, village stores and museum with outside children's play area. Mortehoe is only one mile from the sandy beaches of Woolacombe which can be accessed by car or by walking the coastal pathway." Stair gates, travel cot and a highchair are available at Heatherdale. Heatherdale is a superb property for pets, all dogs are exempt from the standard £15.00 per pet fee Post Code - EX34 7ED

Leave Barnstaple on the A361 towards Braunton/Ilfracombe. Pass through Braunton approx. (5 miles) and continue towards Ilfracombe until you reach Mullacott Cross roundabout (Approx. 7 miles from Braunton). Turn left to Woolacombe.Approx. one half miles on a left hand bend- turn right - signposted Morthoe (just before Fortescue pub) Follow road to village ? Take the turning on your right next to the post office onto North Morte Road and follow the road down until the road narrows and you see a private road to your left, go down this private road and Heatherdale is half way down the road.

Unfortunately we have had numerous guests park in the driveways of the properties to either side of the property - please ensure you only use the drvieway of Heatherdale, there is a turning area at the bottom of the Heatherdale drive.
