Just a 10 minute walk through the picturesque townsquare and past the Cascais Bay, the marina offers some great places to hang out with delicious fresh food. 10 minutes in the other direction will take you to the promenade filled with local restaurants offering the catch of the day and other fresh fish caught off our coast, you can walk for miles up the promenade towards São João taking in the ocean air and stopping for a coffee along the way!
Although we are a smallish cobble street town with loads of charming narrow streets, we have a good selection of local museums, art exhibition centres and cultural attractions. If you love the water you can take a boat out on the ocean for an afternoon.
Getting Around:
You can go almost everywhere on foot. But in the case that you don't feel up to it or you want to go further afield there is great transport system called the BusCas and GiroBus. They are circular routes which take you to all the areas outside of the town centre as well as the out of town shopping mall and cinemas. Otherwise the train will take you to central Lisbon or catch the bus to Sintra from the bus station across the road den the train station.
Ubers are also really cheap and easy to call from wherever you may be!

Local municipalities have introduced a Tourist Tax, requiring hosts to collect from tourists staying in accommodations such as hotels, B&Bs, or vacation rentals. This tax contributes to the maintenance of local facilities and applies to tourists regardless of nationality. It is the host’s responsibility to collect the tax at the prevailing rate and pass it on to the respective municipalities/regions. Rates can vary from year to year and between different councils. Please check your reservation for details.

Interaction with Guests:
We meet and greet our guests if they arrive until around 9pm. When it's later than that we may sometimes leave a key at a 24 hour porter for you - please note this is located at another address not far from the property. The apartment has a manual which will explain the workings of appliances etc in the property. But we remain available on the phone in case of need.
We would then leave you to enjoy your stay in peace but in the knowledge were only a phone call away (you'll always have more than one local contact number).
On leaving the property you'd just leave our keys in the entrance hall after closing up all doors and windows and turning off all lights and air conditioning units.
