In den 1800er Jahren gebaut, hat dieses Haus wurde renoviert und erweitert, um einen hohen Standard der Unterkunft.
1 Doppelzimmer, 1 Zweibettzimmer mit voller Größe Einzelbetten und Kinderbett. Dusche / WC im Erdgeschoss. Alle Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc. enthalten. TV / DVD und WLAN. Das Anwesen hat seinen ehemaligen Charakter, das eine steinerne Wendeltreppe, die für ältere Menschen und sehr jung als schwierig erweisen kann beibehalten. Haustiere sind nach vorheriger Absprache mit den Eigentümern, aber nicht unbeaufsichtigt gelassen werden. Eigene Zufahrt zum Ferienhaus mit ausreichend sichere Parkplätze. Grillmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Privater Jacuzzi im Garten, auf Anfrage zwischen 10.00 und 21.30 Uhr

Coziness and Breathtaking Beauty

We loved staying at this beautiful cottage in such a beautiful location. It was so cozy and the surrounding area was everything we dreamed it would be. Janet and Mike were so welcoming and helpful. We felt like we were visiting family! The surrounding gardens and all the flowers are bountiful and obviously lovingly cared for. And we loved all the nature: bunnies, chickens, and sheep. A wonderful weekend

A wonderful weekend in this picturesque cottage. Incredible gardens, scenery, location, cottage and a particularly good wood burner. Mike & Janet could not have been nicer, and more accommodating, while we also had so much privacy and space in this secluded, calm and quiet location. The stairs were pretty steep, but we managed to get a child gate at the top and our two kids loved their time there. We enjoyed walking up Sugar Loaf mountain together which was about a 30min lovely drive. Recommend the vineyard cafe enroute too btw! Will definitely be coming back somepoint. Tom & Sarah,

I can’t say enough about this place! Not only was the house gorgeous and comfortable, but the grounds and gardens were stunning. The views! We felt like we’d landed in another, better universe. Cosy cottage in rolling hills

We had a fantastic couple of days here, the cottage was really cosy and the wood burning stove was great. Nestled in the edge of a woodland with views across the hills the cottage has the feeling of getting away from it all despite being at the end of the owners garden and only 10minute drive to usk.

Idyllic get away.

We had a wonderful short stay at Forest cottage. Very friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and with the log fire burning made for a very comfortable and cosy stay - we really didn’t want to leave! Cosy and quiet cottage

The cottage had everything we needed it was clean and tidy and the hot tub is a great bonus. Lots of walks right from the door our dogs had an amazing time. Janet and Michael were great supplying us with plenty of wood for log burner and telling us about local walks.

Fantastic views of the valley from either of the sitting areas. Friendly hosts. As others have said, stairs are very narrow at the top, but to be expected for the type of place it is. Perfect place for a very relaxing couple days. Could not recommend more.

So cosy and quiet

Such a cute little cottage, especially loved the inquisitive chickens and the log burner fire. It had everything we needed and the owners were lovely and friendly. Definitely plan ok coming back again and will recommend Forest cottage to friends and family. Only grumble is that we didn’t stay longer!

Absolute charm and beauty

Exceptional at all levels, very clean and well furnished, the location, views and garden beauty are beyond words. I highly recommend with a note about the fact that it is a bit difficult to manage the little (beautiful) stone stairs to the upper floor where the bedrooms are located if you are not very mobile; I enjoyed all details and the wood stove. Cannot get much better than this.

A Perfect Stay!!

We were looking for a beautiful cosy place, out of the way of the world and Forest cottage more than lived up to our expectations. The cottage was perfectly equipped for our every need and the gorgeous wood burner was a delight for my husband. The jacuzzi was a great place to relax with a cold drink in the evenings with stunning views across the valley. We will hopefully be returning very soon, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody. Many thanks Mike and Janet for a relaxing stay.
