In Barra, you can go anywhere by foot or you can hire a bike for a pleasant bike ride around the neighbourhood, (tip: you can go all the way to Costa Nova by bike and visit the famous striped houses).

There're public free parking spaces just in front of the apartment. In the summer it can be difficult to find parking but for that you can use our underground private parking.

Praia da Barra it's connected by Highway to Aveiro aka "Venice of Portugal" (10 minutes), Praia da Costa Nova with its famous striped houses (5 minutes), Coimbra (1 hour) & Porto (1 hour).

You will have bakeries, ATMs, several shops, fresh fish and vegetables local market, pharmacy, playgrounds, convenience stores, ice-cream shops, supermarkets and several restaurants literally just around the corner.

Surf, Cycling, Windsurf, Sailing, Fishing, Stand Up Paddle are some of the activities you can enjoy in Praia da Barra. For the little ones, there're playgrounds and go-cars just minutes walking from the apartment.
