Step inside No. 33 Woodlands Cottage and you'll see that the owner hasn't held back in her use of beautiful wallpapers and furnishings to make this retreat so comfortable and special. There's a well-equipped kitchen with red Aga, a separate beautifully-appointed and styled sitting room with large sofa and comfortable arm chairs, Smart television plus wood burning stove for cosy nights in, and a spacious dining area. On warmer days let the inside in through the pretty stable door which leads out onto a generous sun deck and down onto a private lawned garden. You'll love dining alfresco when the days are long and warm. After a busy day exploring, retire upstairs to the luxurious and generous king-size master bedroom or the twin bedroom, both with sea views and served by a family bathroom. Outside you'll find a gorgeous, fully-enclosed garden with a generous deck with table and chairs and parasol, meaning you can sunbathe, dine outside and make use of the barbecue or watch the sun go down over the sea with a chilled glass of wine; or wrap-up under a blanket after nightfall with a hot chocolate and stargaze.
No. 33 Woodlands Cottage is close to the village centre (a 20-minute walk) and all that north Norfolk has to offer, with two beaches on your doorstep and within easy walking distance of the cottage, which can be accessed via the golf course. Also being close to the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton and pretty village of Thornham, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the numerous dining and shopping opportunities and water activities such as kayaking and paddle-boarding. Heacham has many footpaths to discover, and a great beach side promenade that stretches all the way to the iconic carrstone cliffs of neighbouring Hunstanton. Look out for popular Bordoli's pizza truck that visits the village on a Wednesday evening, and be sure to sample the gooiest of treats from Breakfast and Brownies on the high street. There is also a great antiques shop and cafe to be found next to the Tesco Express. For a larger supermarket, Lidl is located on on the road to Snettisham, and there is a big Tescos in Hunstanton, which also has EV chargers in the car park and a fuel station.
