Portimão Tourist tax
Entered into force March 14, 2024, for Bookings made from the 14th March 2024.
In Portimao, during the high season (from 1 April to 31 October), each tourist aged 13 years or over will have to pay Two Euro for each night's stay, for a maximum charge of 7 nights, stays over 7 nights are capped at 14 Euro per person. In low season November 1st to March 31st each tourist aged 13 years or over will have to pay One Euro for each night's stay, for a maximum charge of 7 nights, stays over 7 nights are capped at 7 Euro per person.
The accommodation owners or managers are responsible for collecting this tax.
To collect the correct amount, the person who books the property must collate the passport information to confirm date of births of each family member or group member who will be staying in the accommodation.
Payment is to be paid by bank transfer to the property owners account provided prior to arrival or credit card payment can be arranged.
Note: Payment by card will incur a 10% processing fee.
Free Check-in until 19:00hrs. *Check-in later than 19:00hrs will be subject to a €20 late fee payable on arrival.

Please do not not take the provided towels away from the property.
