Disappointing
The villa’s location in relation to the beach was great. However the surrounding area with regard to bars, restaurants & supermarkets not so good. Most of the establishments either closed early or didn’t open at all as this is a very Spanish area and caters mainly for the Spanish holiday makers, who own most of the hundreds of apartments there, and their holiday season doesn’t start till July which we are now aware of.
The villa was very tired and needs several items replacing. Only 4 sun beds! None of which were comfortable as quite old. Pool was never cleaned properly. BBQ was really dirty, not usable. Although there was ample kitchen ware, a lot of the crockery was chipped, cutlery needed cleaning before use, toaster was a 2 slice, not sufficient for a 10 berth accommodation. Not sufficient hot water if all using showers simultaneously. Broken dining chair (only realised when one of our party fell from it). No cleaners attended the property during our stay of 9 days.
Description states there is a pool table, but it was a table tennis table. Information guide needs to be more precise on local activities, opening times etc. The lounge/ dining area is very cramp with to much furniture, photos make it look much bigger. Noisy gardeners arrived on our 3rd day and carried out unnecessary leaf blowing whilst we were sunbathing. Host has failed to respond to a message sent 4 days ago stating issues found!
